And the Prize is;

So for my 2nd card for this challenge I decided to use a totally different colour palette and my Copics. Here I have used Tilda with blueberries.

For the card body I have used Kaisercraft basic in 'Grape'. For the 2nd layer  I used Bazzill Bling to add some sparkle. The design papers are from Graphic 45's collection 'Secret Garden'.  I then layered these together and added some plain cardstock in Grape and used the Lace die from Magnolia with the stars. I then die cut using my Bug two tags using the Vintage Die tag, in alternating colours. Added to this was a piece of purple lace from Bo Bunny and a doily from Martha Steward's collection. I then added purple blossom flowers and berries, and this gorgeous big blackberry from Live and Love crafts. To these I added some sparkle with Stickles Diamond. A purple ribbon, from a wedding invite from my best friend Gayle makes the bow. I curled some scroll's with my Quilling creator.

To colour the image I used the following Copic Combo-

Skin- YR000, E21, R01, R30, R20
Clothes- V09, V06, V15, V12, B12, B24, B97
Shoes- C5, C3
Apron- Y35, YR31
Basket- E57, E31, E35
Trim- YG91
Blueberries- BV20, B24, G14

I used Plaid's Dimensional Magic on the blueberries in the basket and those on the floor. To finish off some pearls in Lavender from Kaisercraft collection added an extra bit of sparkle.

Hope you enjoy

And the Prize is;

So the card stock I used for this is the Kaisercraft Basics in 'Olive'. Lovely and fresh colours and went very well with my Sweet Love pear stamp. As you can see I have masked Tilda so she is sitting on the Pear. The design papers I used were from the Graphic 45 collection 'Secret Garden' I then used Kaisercraft and Prima flowers to accessorize the card. I made some rolled scrolls from my quilling creator.

I then die cut using Tilda's Love lace to the edge of the plain yellow paper from Create Paper's collection 'Pretty Party'. I added the bees and used Martha Steward black glitter just for a contrast. Then came the lace which is cream and runs along the top of the card and a lemon yellow ribbon. To tie in with the food theme I used the small apples from Live and Love Crafts.  Added to this was a die cut 'Handmade' from the Kaisercraft collection 'Nana's Favorites'. Finally a die of Tilda's ticket in Pretty Party paper which has the bees, once dried, glued to it.

Now the image, I used this adorable Tilda who is holding love hearts, as food and love go hand in hand to me! Here is the colour combo I used with my Distress Inks-

Skin- Tattered Rose/ tea dye/spun sugar
Hair- Tea Dye/ Scattered straw
Dress- Faded Jeans/Stormy sky
Pear- Pine needles/Peeled paint/crushed olive
Hearts- Barn door

As you will see on the pic's some of the glitter has dropped off the bees but I like the look, it looks like a little trail from them from the flowers!

Hope you enjoy!

Happy international Talk Like a Pirate day! 2013!

ahoy mateys!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

well international talk like a pirate day is upon us once again and I thought would pop in and re-post my fave card... Miss Pirate Tilda! otherwise known as Tilda Sparrow! ye shall walk the plank if miss Tilda gets her way!

(Or  Hackin' Rachel Drake as my Pirate name apparently is!)

So this is me in pirate terms!!!!

You are The Quartermaster

You, me hearty, are a man or woman of action! And what action it is! Gruesome, awful, delightful action. You mete out punishment to friend and foe alike – well, mostly to foe, because your burning inner rage isn’t likely to draw you a whole lot of the former. Still, though you may be what today is called “high maintenance” and in the past was called “bat-shit crazy,” the crew likes to have you around because in a pinch your maniacal combat prowess may be the only thing that saves them from Jack Ketch. When not in a pinch, the rest of the crew will goad you into berserker mode because it’s just kind of fun to watch. So you provide a double service – doling out discipline AND entertainment.

What's Yer Inner Pirate?

For this card I used the gorgeous Tilda dressed as a Scarecrow. Reminds me of Worzel Gummage! I used card stock in Cookie as it went well with the DP from Kaisercraft ' 75 cents'. This is defo one of my fave collections.

So I have used 3 lots of DP and layered them onto the card stock. I have added a little bit of glittery mesh from my stash and some tea colour lace from my stash too. The flowers are in a matching shade of mint from WOC and the sparkly leaf is from Prima.  I have added a mint button and bead to the collection.

My tools are - Shovel and a pair of secateurs which are at the bottom nestled in the flowers. Some 'Say it with Crystals' from Prima adds a bit more sparkle to the card.

I coloured Tilda in Copics- Here is my Combo

Skin - YR000, E21, R30
Hair - R02, 12, 27
Clothes- BG10, 15, 49
Hat- YR21, E55
Straw- Atyou Spica gold pen (these have awesome glittery glass fragments)

The sentiment is from Magnolia and is stamped on one of the die cuts that come with the KC collection paper pad. I added a Prima butterfly and a KC sparklet to the card to finish off.

I love the floral pattern and the blue and pink flowers on the 2nd layer is my fave.  I then used the Spellbinders Floral frame die for the main image of Tilda with her many hearts. Such a sweetie isn't she!

The dies I used in this card are- Magnolia Doo hickeys; Flags, long heart folding die, peacock feather. LLLC Heart fence, heart banner. The main body shape is from Lifestyle crafts.

I then coloured my image of Tilda with the following Copic Combo-

Added to this was the pink lace from my stash. I added some Shabby Pink Fran-tage to the banners. Tilda gardening!

Hey there crafty peoples!

Hope we are all well?

Its that time again! For another chance for you to join us in an awesome challenge from Totally Tilda Challenge Blog. This challenge is Tilda and Gardening BUT you MUST include packet of seeds and/or tool.  So as you will see I used a seed packet charm on my card.

The sponsor for this challenge is -Ribbon Girl

Prize on offer from The Ribbon Girl will either be:
a Ribbon Kit
or
a £10 voucher for the store

So come on over and join us!

For the card body I used a piece called 'Fern' from Kaisercraft. It is a love bright colour and matched the design papers from Graphic 45's 'Secret Garden' really well. I created an Easel card I could add my second Tilda to the scene.

I layered the DP papers and also added this gorgeous bling piece from Bazzil as the backing for my image. I then printed Tilda on a circle die.  I added some daffodil flowers from WOC up the side to give it a spring type feeling. To the left of the card you can see a 'bouquet' of flowers that I created using the following products; Prima flowers, WOC craft leaves, Daffodil from WOC and some green ribbon with blue spots from my stash.  I then added the charm in the shape of a seed packet, to the card and finished off with a Kaisercraft Sparklet.

Next I used the Digi stamp of Sunflowers from La La Land Crafts and added them to the front and also behind the sitting Tilda.  I picked these as the Tilda sitting playing 'loves me, loves me not' has a perfect flower in her hands to link to the sunflowers.

Finally, I added two Daffodils to the card at the bottoms, the La La Land Craft sentiment 'Bee Happy' and added a bee charm to finish off.

Here are the Copic colours I used;

Tilda with Seeds

Skin- YR000, E21, R20, R01, R30
