A message from across the miles...

Hiya everyone!

Hope we are all well. Crazeeeeeeee weather here in the Pilbara, rain one moment, sun the next, then thunder! So ive been tucked up crafting today.

The challenges I would like to enter my card into are the following-

In the Pink challenge blog - Cute
Marvelous Magnolia Challenge blog- Bring on the bling
Simply Magnolia- CAS or fully loaded
lovely hAnglar or sweet Magnolia - Lace and pearls

So for this card I used the gorgeous 'Tilda in evening dress' from the 'Little Moscow Circus' collection. She is sooooooooooo chic!!! I coloured Tilda with Distress Inks. The papers I used are from Maja.

I used dies from Magnolia, Go Kreate, and Tim Holtz. The sentiment means a lot to me as I am from England and now live in Australia so 'across the miles' really hits home, esp round birthdays which this card is for. I used lace from Live and Love crafts, ribbon from my stash along with pale purple ribbon. I added some purple rhinestones to around the main image. The flowers which are made from a Magnolia die are sprayed with Tattered Angels glimmer mist.

I hope you like her.

The whole scene is coloured with Copics and I used soe DI 'Scattered straw' ink to help get the sandy look. The paper is from the fabulous Graphic 45 'Tropical travelogue' and is such a beautiful collection.

The die are from La La Land crafts and are the spooky vines and of course the fab Magnolia. I used ghost leaves and regular leaves from WOC. The ribbon is from my stash. I added some cheese cloth to behind the image. I distressed the image and edged it with DI 'Vintage Photo'.

I also used the Jungle signpost from the Pet/animal collection and fussy cut it out and glued it to the image. I curled two edges of the main image as I wanted a rough and ready kinda look. On the clouds I used a white marker to make them stand out.

On the inside I continued the jungle them with the vine stamp and again the jungle signpost.

On the card I used a mix of Tim Holtz, Spellbinders and of course, Magnolia dies. I didnt want to overcrowd the card so didnt add flowers as didnt want to hide these beautiful papers. I added some pale blue rhinestones and that is it.
