princess and the pea
Happy Saturday everyone!!
Its a grey day again here, it really has been a mixed bag of late weather wise and dont think just here in Australia. So crafting away happily as had a break for a bit when dad was ill. So back on the craft wagon again.
I am here with a storybook inspired card- Princess and the pea. I would like to enter my card into the following challenges-
Live and Love Crafts- Photo inspiration
Midweek Magnolias- Say it with flowers
In the Pink challenge blog- for a child/baby
Magnolia-Licious - Anything goes
For this card I used an older stamp 'Princess Pea Tilda' and masked her onto 'Tilda's mattress' from the same collection. She looks rather comfy up there doesnt she!
I coloured Tilda and her Mattess with Distress inks. The papers are from Kaisercraft collection 'Oh so lovely' which is one of my fave collections that they have done.
The dies are a mix of Go Kreate, Tim Holtz and of course Magnolia. The flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts. The fabulous button lace along the bottom is from Live and Love Crafts.
On the die cut leaves, the weathered clock, the flourish, the die cut lace and the sentiment banner I used some fran-tage from Stampendous. The pearl pin as well as the frosted apples peeking out from the flowers are both from Live and Love Crafts as is the shabby seam ribbon on the tag.
Finally, I added some rhinestones as earrings and some Fairy dust glitter glue to Tilda shoes, bow and suit trim.
Hope you have a great day.

She sells seashells..
Me again!
Can you tell I am catching up on blogging!!!! Now the title heck I had to think about it as I was typing it as the old rhyme sometimes get you good!!!
I would like to enter my card into the following challenges-
Magnolia-Licious Challenge blog- Anything goes
lovely hAnglar or sweet Magnolia- Summer
Simply Magnolia - CAS or fully loaded
Deep Ocean Challenge blog- dots and/or stripes
Now I used an older stamp for this card, but she is such a gorgeous one and is doing one of my fave things to do in summer at the beach...collect shells. I have a vase full of different ones which I love.
I used Kaisercraft papers for this card and coloured Tilda with Distress Inks. The card shape is by Go Kreate and the dies are a mix of Tim Holtz and Magnolia.
The fabulous gorgeous lace at the bottom is from Live and Love Crafts and I have just ordered more of it it is gorgeous!!!! Behind the image you can see some cheese cloth which reminded me of fishing nets. The shells are from a local haberdashery shop and the gold shell is a 'Dress it up' button. I love the sparkle of it.
In the glass bottle I used chunky white glitter.
On all the die cuts I sprayed them with Glimmer mist to give it that late afternoon gorgeous golden shimmer that the beach gets. So relaxing. The sand that Tilda is standing on I added gold and glass fran-tage from Stampendous.
To finish off I added a small wooden peg and a star fish charm.
Hope you all have a gorgeous weekend.

I would like to enter my card into the following challenges-
Magnolia-Licious challenge blog- Anything goes
lovely hAnglar or Sweet Magnolia- Summer
Simply Magnolia- CAS or fully loaded
Midweek Magnolias- Say it with flowers
So for this card I used one of the new stamps from the new Magnolia release 'Tilda with Daffodils' I love this image! It reminds me of home so much.
I coloured Tilda with Distress Inks and the papers are by the ever gorgeous Maja Design. Now for me CAS is hard!!! I had to have some control and walk away before I got too carried away!!! On the inside of the card I used another of the new release stamps.
The sentiment is from a La La Land Crafts stamp and think is a lovely sentiment for a birthday card.
Hope you have a lovely weekend.

Flowers in the garden
Hi guys!
I am here with my last GDT for the fabulous All about Magnolia Challenge blog and this time the theme of the challenge is Flowers...which we all love right gals?
For this card I didnt use a Tilda or Edwin but a Magnolia background stamp. The birdhouse is such a cute image and was such fun to colour. I coloured the birdhouse with Distress inks. I also used the little blue birds from Magnolia. These are so downright cute!!!
The flowers are from Prima and of course Wild Orchid Crafts.
The dies are from Magnolia and Go Kreate.
To finish off I added some shabby seam binding from Live and Love Crafts and the teeny tiny cutest charm...a birdhouse from Craftheaven-shop.
Hope you have a great day!

I saw the country roads and thought 'hmmm Tilda on a country bike ride'. So I used 'On the Road Tilda' and coloured her with Distress Inks. I used the Abandoned Coral and the papers from Maja 'Summer Crush' collection as I adore the colour coral and pop it with white its such a summery beautiful colour which just pops.
The dies are a mix Go Kreate, Magnolia and La La Land Crafts. The flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts. The lace...ohhh the lace... *swooon* is from Live and Love Crafts.
I made a pull out tag which has a Stempelglede sentiment on it which you can see if the photo further down. On the tags, the leaves and the swirl I added some 'Shabby Gold' Fran-tage to add some extra sparkle.
On the die cuts I used Distress Inks 'Vintage Photo' around the edges.
On the butterfly I added a butterfly button and along with the trees some Bisque Perfect Pearls. On the cat die cut I added some flat back pearls as a collar. On Tilda I added some glitter glue and also some flat back rhinestones for earrings.
To finish off I tied some blush pink twine through the tags.
Hope you have a wonderful weekend.
