getting our festive mojo going
Well its here...yes December. wow. Are we all feeling festive? In the mist of Christmas shopping and decorating? Yep us too. Think we are sorted...and a few festive treats have been consumed well needs must eh?
I would like to enter my card into the following challenges
Magnolia Forever Challenge blog - Anything goes with the option of Christmas...
The Official Magnolia Challenge blog- Gift box....
Simply Magnolia Challenge blog Christmas
Swedish House Crafts- Challenge blog on FB... Christmas/winter
So again I am here with another box card. I think these are fab for a couple of reasons, a) the can double as a little ornament, b) you can pop a bottom on them and then pop treats in them, c) they are so much fun to make and lots of possibilities d) easy to post as they fold down flat
This card I left the image off...i know not like me but i fancied trying something different. I used Maja Design papers for the body of the card. The dies are from Magnolia Doohickey clubs FYI I LOVE THESE CLUBS! I used card stock on the die cuts.
The little holly and berries are from an Impression Obsession die and this die gets rolled out every single Christmas without fail. Its so cute.
The letters are cut from a Tim Holtz and Ranger die. I popped them on some acetate and glued them in place. I like them bobbling around haha.
The fire is cut from a rose coloured cardstock and sprayed with Tattered Angles glimmer mist in gold.
Hope you have a great week.

after all this time? Always....
Hi all
Hope we are all well. Well since its October and the month of Halloween it had to be a Halloween inspired card didnt it. I am a HUGE Harry Potter fan so I was excited to post this card. I had a lot of fun making it.
I would like to enter my card into the following challenges-
Ally's Angels challenge blog - Anything goes
Alphabet Challenge blog - 'O' One word sentiment
Magnolia Forever Challenge blog - Anything goes with the option of purple
The Official Magnolia Inspiration and Challenge blog - Monochrome
Sweet Stamper Challenge blog- Autumn/ Halloween
Swedish House Crafts- Facebook challenge - Autumn or Spooky
Now this card was made just for a bit of fun. I love the stamps. So why not!
I used an old Tilda stamp of her as a Wizard and I dont think she will ever stop being a fave of mine. I coloured Tilda with Distress inks.
The card shape is a box card made from a die. The papers....oh the papers.... these are from Photo Play and kinda awesome arent they. I found these at The Rubber Buggy . They are so fabulous arent they!!! I just love the candle background. I used a candle from the a Christmas Doohickey release and popped them on some acetate to make them look like they are floating.
The other dies, they are from a Harry Potter die pack that also came with a hat, owl , dobby and 9 3/4 die along with the broom and the golden snitch. The snitch i cut on pale gold card stock then sprayed with Tattered Angels glimmer mist in Gold.
Now the sentiments....these I would at an awesome company called Ink Road Stamps. I love the sentiments. I comes with some many fabulous ones. I love the little feet so thought on the bottom if the card I would create my own little mischief managed map route.
The little broom and witches hat is from Cheery Lynn Designs.
Hope you have a great week ahead

up among the stars
Happy October!!
Yep the bewitching month is upon us now. Not that we do anything goes it but I love the whole witchy/ spooky (not scary dont do scary!) thing. In fact Ive got halloween themed gym clothes! yay!
I would like to enter my card into the following challenges-
Magnolia forever challenge blog -anything goes with the option of purple
Allys Angels- Anything goes
The Official Magnolia Inspiration and Challenge blog- Monochrome
So I have been chugging through my Christmas cards. I wanted an Angel Gabriel kinda card....all gold and stars. I used an older Tilda but isnt she gorgeous. I wanted to stick to my gold theme. I coloured Tilda with Distress Inks. The papers are from Kaisercraft a few years ago but still one of my faves that they have put out for Christmas.
The dies...oh the dies.... Well the card shape is a die from a craft mag and its been used so so much. The clouds are from a Magnolia die. The stars, well that is the one and only Tim Holtz. I used a Little Darlings Rubber stamp die for the background, and i popped this star die over it and ran it through my craft machine. I then used some glitter gold paper and popped it behind the cut out stars. I also used the same die on the flaps on the card.
I used stars from the same Holtz die set. I adhered them to come clear plastic and the popped them round Tilda so it looked like she is up in the clouds among the stars.
Hope you have a great weekend ahead.

if i had a hammer...
Morning!!
Happy 1st October.... yes OCTOBER PEOPLE!! This is not a drill!!! wow!
You have me across as Guest Designer at Simply Magnolia this month and the challenge theme is' Anything goes with the option of Purple'
Now I am not a big purple fan so I skipped that element and went with a bday card for my dad.
I used 'Sitting Cosy Edwin' for this card. He is such a versatile image. I coloured our boy Edwin in Distress Inks.
I used the good old push me pull me card aka Double slider surprise card . I used papers from Kaisercrafts 'Technologic' release. Its such a great release. Something for every male card and esp if they like computer games.
The dies...ohhh the dies....they are from Magnolia. I wanted a Mr Fix it kinda card...even if i did think the hammer die was a saw hence the title of blog post (was too late to change it once it was glued down! 😵 ) I love love love the little nails!!! how flipping awesome and cute are they!
I added a die cut from the Kaisercraft collection for the sentiment on the inside...its kinda true hehe!
The little pull me sign is from a stamp in my stash but I cannot for the life of me find the label.
I hope you have a fab week ahead.

I used a push me pull me card as I like to call it. You tut on how to do this Double Slider card tutorial .
I used papers from Pion Design. Such a great Masculine release this and something you can work with so easily. Every piece in this collection is just beautiful.
I used to of my all time fave Edwin stamps. They are just dapper gents dont you think!! I coloured Edwin with Distress Inks.
I layered up the papers but not just this I used a Tim Holtz number die and cut the gold numbers out of this. I then used the 3d tape and made each layer pop.
I added a pocket watch and three matte black flat back pearls.
I hope you have a great week ahead.

Hi Cookie!
Hi Guys!
Hope we are good?
I am here with a GDT for the fabulous Swedish House Crafts and a new company added to the shop called Hi Cookie these are the sweetest Christmas images and I couldn't resist the one that I used.
For this card I used the image 'Nils Reindeer Jumper' I love anything Christmas jumper wise and this little guy dressed up is just adorable! I coloured Nils with Distress inks. I had to download the Digi and print it on to watercolour paper and just to make sure the printer ink was dry I left it overnight before I coloured him up.
The papers are from Maja Design. These guys do fab Christmas papers and this collection Christmas Season is probably my fave out of all they have done. So much so I have ordered another 2 lots of it!
The dies....oh I love me some dies! These are all from Magnolia as I do have a bit of a think for Magnolia dies.
On Nils Santa hat...the trim is Marvy snow marker just to make it a bit puffy like fluff. I used the same on his Santa tache too. On the reindeer's nose I added just a touch of Ranger's Glossy accents to make it sparkle and add some dimension to it.
Finally to the tags, I popped some shabby chic red binding through and a small candy cane charm from my stash.
Now, the image comes with a sentiment but I used a different one as I kinda thought Nils is wanting to be Santa when he grows up and the Tim Holtz sentiment 'Just believe' from the December Doodles is one of my fave...ie: its used a lot!
The stocking pic on the left side of the card is from the Maja collection.
Hope you have a great week ahead.

Christmas behind every door
Hi guys!
hope we are all well and going good this Thursday?
I am here with a *whispers* Christmas card...yes I know I know...but its coming fast crafters and we know what the Christmas cards do to us!!
I would like to enter my card into the following challenges-

The Alphabet Challenge blog - 'J' is for Joy or Joy fold card
Simply Magnolia Challenge blog - Anything goes with the option of a sentiment
Sweet Stampers challenge blog- Dies and/or punches
International Art and Soul- Embossing heat or dry
So this style of card is a a feature for my Christmas cards this year. Its actually a die that came with a magazine and its made my life sooooo much easier in the posting dept. It folds down flat! yes FLAT!!!!!! no more wrestling into the envelopes!!!
I used a Tilda from a Christmas collection a few back and i think she is called 'Tilda in button down coat' i cannot for life of me remember.
I coloured Tilda with Distress inks. I used papers from Maja Design 'Christmas season ' which I think out of all the Christmas papers Maja have done this has to be my fave.
Now the door....this is from Lawn Fawn and I couldnt resist. It such a fab little die isnt it and perfect for Christmas.
The other dies are all Magnolia except for the little holly spring on the front of the door which is from Impression Obsession.
I used a Cuttlebug Embossing folder on the Magnolia Poinsettia die and then sprayed these with Tattered Angels Glimmer mist in silver. Once dry I curled them and dabbed some Nuvu silver mousse on them to add a little glimmer.
Hope you have a fab week.
