Parisian Chic
Happy Sunday everyone!!!
Well it seems like summer has hit the Pilbara, last week we needed heater but boy this week the temp has gone up so the air con is on. And even the lizards are out so know that summer has started.
Today I am here with a card I would like to enter into the following challenges-
Time for a Magnolia Challenge- Dies and/or punches
Boutique Magnolia- Girly things
Tilda's Town Neighbourhood blog - Use your stash
Stamp and Create - One for the girls
On this card I used 'Tilda on the loose', she is one of the older stamps but she is so cute. When I first saw her I thought of Carrie from 'Sex and the City' running through Paris. So thats what i went with! I coloured Tilda with Distress Inks.
The papers are stunning and fitted the idea I had in my head of Carrie/Tilda! Parisian Flea market by Pion Design. So feminine.
The dies are a mix of Magnolia,La La Land Crafts and Go Kreate. The flowers as always are Wild Orchid Crafts. The lace is so special its beautiful and girly and is from Live and Love Crafts. On the sign post die it reads in mini alpha's ' England' 'Paris.
To finish off it HAD to be an Eiffel Tower charm.
Hope you have a lovely week next week.

The brads are in the middle of the cogs and the edges of the cloud.
The papers are from 'First Edition Papers' and are the 'Man Made' collection. I love these!!!
The dies are a mix of Magnolia, Go Kreate, Spellbinders and Tim Holtz.
I used a letter die, which I cant for the life of me remember who its from, to cut LOL on the flags and 'FB Like' on the cloud.
I edged the image with Distress Inks 'Vintage Photo'. To finish I added a cog die cut inside to tie in with the outside.
Have a lovely day!

This house has Ashes fever so thought I would use it for a very English card. The paper is the 'Portobella Road' from Papermania and I will confess again, I went a bit crazy and bought the stamps, the ribbons, the bows, the buttons and the embossing folders lol! I just couldnt help myself!!!
The dies I used are from Magnolia and Tim Holtz. I used the Weathered Clock' from Tim Holtz as the guards change on the chiming of the clock so needed to have a clock somewhere on this card!!! I also used the castle die as no London right without the tower of London! I also added a Prima Grandfather clock to tie in with the clock die. The ribbon yup thats from the collection. The buttons on the flags at bottom, yup from the collection and the ribbon on the Prima clock...yup you guessed it from the collection!
Around the image I edged it with Distress Ink 'Festive Berries' and stamped in 'Vintage Photo' the stamp that yup came with the collection, saying Portobella Road' Told you I had gone crazy buying this!
On the inside I used another stamps from yup (this is becoming a habit!) from the collection of the button and the telephone box.
Hope you have a lovely week ahead!

Vintage beach wear
Hiya all!
Hope everyone is ok? Its a gorgeous day here in the Pilbara, not a drop of wind. Perfect.
I would like to enter my card into the following challenges-
All about Magnolia Challenge Blog- Summer
Craft Heaven Shop Inspiration Challenge blog- Bingo- Full house
Deep Ocean challenge blog- Summer
Paradise of Magnolia- Anything goes
Paradise of stamps- Anything goes
Well I thought I would finally try something that I have been wanting to do for a while but been really nervous about it- black and white colouring with Distress inks. When i received my Maja collection 'Sommartider' and saw the black and white papers with the beach things on that was it! knew I had to do it!
So for this card I used 'Tilda on the beach' from Sea Breeze collection. I coloured Tilda using Distress inks. I edged around the card with Distress ink 'Pumice Stone'. The only spots of colour are on her hat and her cheeks.
I used a die for my feathers and that is from Magnolia. All the other dies are also Magnolia. To tie in with the red I used some red thread on the grey glitter buttons and some read flowers. Used a red die cut of a bow for the bow aspect along with shabby seam biding at the top tied into a bow, where the charm is attached. The charm is a little pair of sunglasses. I use some lace from Live and Love Crafts.
For the pearls I added a flat back pearl button to the middle of the bow which has awesome bling around it. This is also from Live and Love crafts. I added a pearl pin also. For more bling I added some red rhinestones.
The flowers are from the fabulous WOC.
I hope you like our vintage beach!

The dies...well they are from the latest Doohickey club, I am just in LOVE with that mushroom border!!!! I got soooooo excited about that one!!! I added a pale blue and a cream coloured feathers coz Tilda would have funky chickens in her garden!
The flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts, they are fabulous!!!!!!
The little leaves are on masking foam which makes it pop and I love the thought of Tilda having the leaves swirling round her in the garden.
My charm is a bumble bee...good for the garden, the plant and such busy little bees!
You can see the lace peeking out from behind Tilda, along with some pea green lace that I found in my stash.
To finish off I added some autumn colour rhinestones and flat back pearls for a little bit of bling....coz a girl needs her bling even when gardening darling!
Hope you have a lovely day!
