Paradise of stamps - Valentines

So for this card I used some of my gorgeous Maja Sumertime papers. These are simply beautiful and its as usual often hard to choose which ones out of the collection to use. The Tilda I picked is 'Sakura Tilda' I love her little wink behind her bouquet of flowers! I coloured Tilda with Distress Inks.

Now for the dies... I used a lot of dies on this card but one of my new ones and its defo fabulous and I feel it might be getting a lot of use is from Stampin' Up. Its part of a bundle and its the heart die on the edge of the card....the great thing is that the inside part of the hearts move! So as you can see it twists to show the other side of the papers. I love the 3D option that this allows for. The small heats at the top and the arrows are also from this bundle. The other dies are from Magnolia. I used a corner punch, also from Stampin' Up, on the corners of this card.

The flowers are a mix of Wild Orchid Crafts and Prima, the largest of the flower is from that company. The charm is a ladies bonnet and it was in my stash.

The lace...of the lace..is just beautiful and is from Noor!Design UK as is ribbon rose on the top of it.

On the centre of the flowers that Tilda is holding I used another of my new obsessions...Nuvo Crystal Drops. I need more of these!! LOL.

Hope you have a great week ahead.

Surprise cake!!!!

Hiya guys

Well it feels like its been a while....again lol... I do have a good reason I promise and yet again its the garden! We have finallllllllly got the wood chip down jeez it was a long job but it looks super cute and we managed to get it done before the crazy heat came back-SCORE!

So today I would like to enter my card into the following challenges-

In the Pink - Dies or punches
Midweek Magnolias- Anything goes with a Magnolia image
lovely hAnglar or Sweet Magnolias- Anything goes
Alphabet Challenge- 'Y' is for you choose
Deep Ocean Challenge blog- Add lace

This card is for a special bday...its my mother in laws 70th but dont tell her I told you! I wanted to try something a bit different so when I saw the My Favourite Things interactive cake die I fell in love. The die gives you all the pieces of the cake to make it interactive so all you have to choose is what you want to pop up from the top!

I used Elephant Show Tilda from the 'little Moscow circus' collection from a few year back...she is the perfect little lady to pop out from the top of the cake with her arms in the air its like she is shouting 'SURPRISE'. I coloured Tilda with Distress Inks. On her feathers I used Stickles Frosted Lace.

The papers are from Maja Design and I have been hanging on to these for a long time lol as I love them! But it is for a special bday!

I used one of my fave new toys...my corner rounder punch...on the edges of all the layers of the card body. The lace is from the gorgeous Noor! Design UK as is the pin that I used. The flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts and the fan charm was in my stash. I popped some rhinestone brads on the corners to add a bit more bling.

On the cake itself I used some Perfect Pearls to add dots of icing. The 70 is die cut in gold glitter paper and from a Tim Holtz die.

Inside I used a sentiment stamp from Lili of the valley stamps.

Hope you have a fab weekend ahead.

Cupid draw back your bow...

Hi!

Magnolia-licious challenge blog- Anything goes
Craft Heaven Challenge blog- Love is all around

Soooo its still the month of luvvvveee lol but this card wasnt made for a valentines but for a wedding anniversary so still luuuuuvvvve...and it was again for my lovely bestie so glad I can finally blog it as she would have caught on if I hadnt have waitied!!

The card is from a tutorial by the awesome Norma Lee and can be found at this link Swing card. Its a lovely card template and really does look cute.

Now for this I used a Magnolia image on the inside...'Cupid Tilda with heart arrows' I had been waiting for her to get in stock somewhere and finally got her and I must admit I do love her. I coloured her with Distress inks. The cupid on the front...now I did warn you in the last blog post that this would be getting quite the work out and here he is again. I love him die cut in black.

The papers are from Maja Design the gorgeous release last year called 'Vintage Romance'.

The sentiment is from Magnolia ink and one of my faves they have done.

To add some sparkle I used flat back pearl hearts to the card, just dotted around on the front and on the hairband of Tilda on the inside. To finish off I popped some strips of clear rhinestones around the edge of the front and inside.

Hope you have a great rest of the week.

A fine romance...

Hey there!!

Can you believe it is Feb already!!! like really!!! oh my days SLLLLLLOOOOOOW down will ya 2017! geez!

But as its Feb we all know its the month of luvvvvve....and my title is from one of my fave songs that Ella Fitzgerald sang...which I will be singing for the rest of the day now no doubt!!! lol

I would like to enter my card into the following challenges-

Marvelous Magnolis Challenge blog- Love is..
Craft Heaven Shop Inspiration challenge blog- Love is all around
Magnolia Forever Challenge blog- Love
Midweek Magnolias- Show some love
Paradise of Stamps- Valentines Day

So for this card I thought I would try a couple of different things. first I used Prisma pencils to colour with...these are very new to me but loving them so far but also a new card shape a waterfall card which can be found at the following link.... Waterfall Card Tutorial and its a really cute way of putting a lot of images into a card..I have a hard time deciding which to use so this is perfect for me lol. But also, it really is compact but packs creative punch.

The papers I used are from Pion Design, they are the Valentine collection from last year and one of my faves for sure. I used this all the way through on the card along with good old Kaisercraft cardstock for the body of the card.

The bling is flat back rhinestones and pearls. The tag is from a Magnolia die and I used some mini alphas to spell out pull. On this and around the images I added some flat back pearl hearts. On the wings of Tilda on the front and the heart she is holding I used stickles glitter glue to and some sparkle.

Now lets talk about cupid....isnt he divine!!! He is a Joycraft die and can be found at Noor! Design UK. I just love love love him! I used him three times in this card...one on the front, the outside part and then again in the middle of the card in red. I feel he might be popping up a lot for Valentines and Christmas cards lol. On the cupid on the front I added a lovely sparkly heart. Four rhinestone brads finish off the card.

Hope you have a great weekend ahead.
