I will bling EVERYTHING!

So now we are back from our trip to Perth I decided it was time to start baking. Been a couple of weeks and think hubby is getting withdrawals. My Mother in Law sent me the Hummingbird bakery book and I went for the recipe of strawberry cheesecake cupcakes. Were yum and very summery! and yes I added bling in the form of the very sparkly pink sugar!

The next lot are marshmallow cupcakes! and more bling!

My favourite things/ Anything goes/ Magnolia only challenge

Hi crafty friends!

hope we are all well.

This weeks I am entering the following challenges with my 'Bonny Tilda' stamped image. I just love colouring this one!

So for this card I used the gorgeous Kaisercraft card stock in 'Ballet' its a very gentle pink and one I use a lot if. The design papers are from Maja Design 'Vintage Spring Basic' collection.  The image is stamped in Archival ink 'Jet Black'. I used Martha Steward doilies and these have a beautiful shimmer to them, as you can see I used a large and a small. I also used a small Kaisercraft pink doily.

I then used my cuttlebug and La La Land die of the heart banner, to this is cut a piece of Bazzill bling in lavender and added some 'Shabby blue' fran-tage to it from the Stampendous range. BEAUTIFUL!!! I then set too and embellished my card. I used flowers from The Ribbon Girl and so fern type flowers from Kaisercraft. If you look in the top left hand corner you will see a La La Land corner flourish die cut. Before I started on my image I used some lace from my stash and some pale pink spiders web ribbon from The Ribbon Girl to add that romantic feel. I also added the gorgeous light bulb from Live and Love Crafts.

I then set to and coloured my image - here is the combo I used from the Tim Holtz Distress ink range

Skin- Tattered Rose/ Vintage Photo
Hair- Vintage photo/ wild honey
Flush to skin/blush- Worn Lipstick
Wings and bow- Wild honey
Aura- Broken China

To this I added some of the 'Shabby Blue' Fran-tage and some dew drops from Scrapbook Boutique. I finished with some glitter from Stickles in Star Dust and some lavender pearls from Kaisercraft to finish off.

These are my fave things to craft with! and this is my fave romantic image!

Hope you enjoy!

And the Prize is;

So everyone knows I LOVE Christmas, I love the build up to it and mostly love sitting at night with the tree lights on, hot choc, hubby and watching some Christmas movies- The Santa Clause gets me each time! Anyhow I digress!

For this challenge I have used 'Tilda Decorates the Christmas tree' I love this stamp as it so different to some of the others. For my Bingo I went with the line 'Snowflake charm/Ribbon and/or lace/ Christmas tree.  I used Kaisercraft cardstock in 'Olive' and stitched round the card with the fancy floss from the 'Sew Easy' kit from 'We are Memory Keepers'. I used the Meadow thread and its awesome as its multi toned. I then used my LLLC die of a Christmas tree and cut out a lovely glittery (it wouldn't be 'if in doubt bling' otherwise'!) green tree. This was then attached to the lovely design papers from October Afternoon. I used embellishments from Dress it up and these are the little lights that are attached to the tree and the star at the top. So I have one out of my line. The next is the snowflake charm...can you spot it? .... its attached to the basket of baubles. Next is ribbon and /or lace. I love the pom pom ribbon trim and the fact that it looks lacey to covers my last box.  For Tilda I used the following colour combo in Distress Inks-

Dress- Fired Brick/Barn Door
Hair- Wild honey
Socks- Stormy sky/tumbled glass
Basket- Vintage photo/scattered straw
Skin- Tea Dye
Surrounding colour- Broken China

I used one of the di cut cards that come with the October afternoon Collection and wrote the Gift tag out to Tilda from Edwin. I then added some fabric roses and some shaved ice to make the card glitter. To finish off I added glitter to the following- Wings, Cuffs, Sock heels, baubles and bauble in hand.

Hope you enjoy my Bingo line! And don't forget to let us know which line you use/call!

My card!

For this card I used the gorgeous Bazzil Bling card stock and the ultra glittery Design Papers from Kasiercraft 'True Romance'. Now since this is about glitter, I had to use the Prima flowers that add such a gorgeous sparkle to any creation. These are in the bottom right hand corner. I also used Kaisercraft bloom in very pale pink, called Fairy Floss. I added a load of Diamond stickles to the flowers in both corners. I then added stickles to the sentiment 'Happiness'. To link in with the 'key to happiness' theme I was going for I used some wood flourishes from Kaisercraft and covered them in glue and added the gorgeous Martha Steward glitter in this beautiful bright pink and rich gold. As ou can see I used a think silver ribbon that has glitter threads woven into it, this was a Christmas gift wrap ribbon! Finally, my usual, a bit of bling !

Titian Tilda challenge at Totally Tilda Challenge blog!

Hi guys!

Thought I would do a midweek card as this is probably one of my fave hair colours to do! Titian means red or auburn and I love that vivid rich red!

So why don't you jump over and join us in our challenge at Totally Tilda Challenge Blog

And our sponsors for this challenge is.....Ribbon Girl

Prize on offer from The Ribbon Girl will be a £10 voucher for the store

So for my 2nd card for this challenge I used my Copics. I used the gorgeous Princess Welcome Tilda as she has long flowing hair which can, I feel, show her Titian hair at its best. So For the card stock I used Kaisercraft 'Blush' and Design papers 'Remember Me' and 'Elegance' . I usually don't like to mix collections but this worked well as Red heads and emerald green go gorgeous! Using my Spellbinders Oval die I cut my X-press it paper and stamped Tilda in 'Espresso Truffle' ink. I then also cut another oval but this time in the Design papers from Remember me to frame the white stamped paper.

Then I set to work and layered up the different coloured design papers, keeping in mind I wanted to be able to showcase Titian Hair Tilda at her best. I used Ribbon roses from Kaisercraft in 'Coral' and added this to the top of the card along with a string of peach pearls. I then added a vintage pin in peach also from Prima.  For the flowers I again used KC paper blooms in coral and some flowers from Ribbons girl in latte. and cream. I wanted to keep the colours neutral and alike to not distract but add to her hair. Then some Sparklets in Sunset.

Now for the main part! Miss Tilda's hair- I used the following Copics

R02/YR61/E08/R46/R05/R27. As you can see I used a lot of different colours to get the different shades of red, as I would see it when the light catches and its natural highlights.

The other colours I used are-

Skin- E21/YR000, R30,R01,R20
Dress- G14, YG06, YG23,V15,V06
Crown- Y17, YR31
Shoes- V15,V06

I added a silver charm in the shape of a crown to finish off. A couple of dots of the colourless blender to her cheeks and we are done.

Titian hair Tilda Challenge DT card

Hi gals!

Well we have another awesome challenge happening over at Totally Tilda Challenge Blog so why don't you hop on over and have a look Totally Tilda Challenge Blog

So Titian in case you are not sure means red or auburn hair. Such a gorgeous rich colour! So for this challenge we are sponsored by

Prize on offer from The Ribbon Girl will  be
£10 voucher for the store.Ribbon Girl

So for this challenge I used one of the new stamps from the awesome new collection 'catch Tilda' she is just adorable! I thought since it was a wedding stamp a shaker card was called for.  So for this I cut a circle in the middle of my card to make the window, I then cut the same size circle in my design papers which are from Kaisercraft 'Sweet Nothings' collection. This paper went lovely with the cardstock in 'Ballet'. I then cut a square of acetate/acrylic sheet and this is the window. I mounted this against the card stock with double sided foam. REMEMBER! to make sure that nothing care escape, that it I sealed nicely so none of you shaker beads/glitter can escape! that's not the kind of surprise that we are going for! lol. For my shaker material I used small beds and some Martha Stewart Glitter.

Now for the image. I stamped Tilda in waterproof ink and then coloured her with Distress Inks. Now as this is a Titian Hair challenge this was the main focus of the card. I like a nice bright and vibrant red so here are the colour combo that I used-

Hair- Fired Brick/Rusty Hinge/Wild honey

As you can see there I used the real bright colours for it and they blend together perfectly.

Here is the colour combo for the rest of the card!

Skin - Tattered rose/Worn lipstick (she is a blushing bride after all!)
Dress- Vintage Lace/Aged mahogany
Flowers- Scattered straw/ Peeled paint
Floor- Brushed corduroy
Background- Tumbled glass

Now in her hair I added some flat-back hearts  in red. In her flowers I then glued some flat-back beads in yellow.

Now for the embellishments! Some gorgeous lace with bling from my own stash, Some Prima flowers (Bretton Vines-Alyssa, and Pixie Vine Fairy Bella) These are just gorgeous and I do have a thing about Prima anything! Added to this some blossom flowers at the bottom. I then used a gorgeous dusty pink velvet ribbon to make it look like a bouquet. Added to this is a die cut of a Tilda's vintage tag and stamped 'The best thing to hold onto in life is each other' from the 'Cozy family' collection. Now again from the new collection I used the ceremony stamps of the rings on the tag and added some stickled in 'Diamond' to glitter like diamonds.

Finally, I added two charms a 'Love' to the tag and 'bow' to the flowers.

Hope you enjoy!

Shabby/Anything goes!

Hiya gals!

Hope we are all well. I have been DYING to use this stamp so when I saw the challenges I couldn't resist. I am entering this card into the following blog challenges:

Live and Love Crafts- Anything goes! Live and Love Crafts
Magnolia Down Under Challenge blog-  Magnolia Down Under Challenge Blog

For this card I used the awesome 'Charleston Tilda' and the paper collection that I just adore from Kaisercraft 'Elegance'. This collection had everything I like in it, peacock feathers, metallic, and a vintage feel to it. So here it is!

I used Kaisercraft 'Mineral' coloured cardstock for the body of the card. I then used 3 pieces of design paper from the 'Elegance' collection and one is metallic and at the back to light up the card. I then used the stripes and peacock feathers design paper. I distressed it and used Vintage photo ink pad fromTim Holtz collection to make it more shabby. I then used some shabby lace and mint green ribbon and lace to tie in with the vintage/shabby feel and the colour of the paper.  I then used my Spellbinders die and cut one in watercolour paper and the other in the metallic silver to decorate the oval in which the image will be stamped. I used the following colour combos in Distress Ink-

Skin- Tattered rose/Tea dye/ worn lipstick/spun sugar
Hair- Wild honey/vintage photo/ tea dye
Dress- Pine needles/ broken China
Flower- Mustard seed
Wings-  Weathered wood
Surround- broken china

I used the following embellishments- Flowers from Prima, Butterflies from Prima, Cheesecloth, and a ribbon charm.

I used my fave dies from Magnolia -The feathers and die cut these in the same very first metallic paper. I used the corner flourish die from LLLC and this again was in the same metallic paper.

I added Diamond Stickles to Tilda's shoes and to around her to make her twinkle. Finally, I added latte coloured pearls, from Kaisercraft, to give her earrings, and Blue grey Rhinestones to her hair to make bobbles. I then added the same colour rhinestones from Kaisercraft to the bottom left hand side of the card.
