Summertime and the living is easy....

Good afternoon blogland!

Hope you are well?

I am here today with a card that ive been dying to try for, well forever! Its a different shape card for me, but i do love it.

The challenge I am entering my card in are the following-

Time for a Magnolia challenge - Still Summer!
Simply Magnolia - Holiday/travel
Deep Ocean Challenge blog - Something sweet (cant get sweeter than ice cream!)
Tilda's Town Neighbourhood challenge blog - Add a creative fold or tag
That Craft Place Challenge Blog - Summer colours

So for this card I used the gorgeous DP's from LOTV in 'Beach Bliss' I finally gave and used them, kinda been hoarding them lol. The die is from Go Kreate dies back in England. Awesome place! I coloured the ice cream image from Magnolia with Copics and used some blue glitter pen on the bobbles on the top of the shack. For me Ice = summer, as does the beach. So to get this effect I used the awesome dies that I won of the seaweed, jellyfish, and shell. I added some cheesecloth behind the main image, to the top of the front but also inside. I like this for beachy/holiday themes as reminds me of fishing nets. The flowers are from WOC. I added 3 white shells and a gold glitter button and a gold glitter starfish. The heart is a wood like material which reminded of the drift wood on a beach. The Banner inside is from La La Land crafts. The sentiment is from LOTV.

To finish off I added some blue rhinestones and a flip flop charm as again summer = flip flops!

I hope you like my card

Something old, Something New

Hi!

Im here today to show you my DT card for the new challenge that is starting at My Besties UK Challenge Blog which is 'Anything goes with old something new'. So what we would like to see if something you have used before and something which is just new to your craft collection. You can enter the challenge at the above link. We have some fab digis as prizes and a special priced digi available to purchase, the rules are up to 3 entries with a Bestie Image and one without so you can enter up to 4 times. This is my design team card for the challenge, I loved this image she is so cute and can be purchased at the store Etsy.

So for my card the something old I decided to use the DPs. They are from Graphic 45 and called 'bird Song'. I liked these as there is a great range of colours and the parasol papers go lovely with my Japanese themed bestie.  My Something new is the awesome large die in the top right hand corner from Tim Holtz, called 'Weathere Clock'.
I coloured my bestie with copics and used dies from TH but also from La La Land Crafts. The sentiment is also from here. I used glitter glue on her parasol and her outfit.
On the bridge and the sentiment I added some black rhinestones.
On the inside I used the same parasol paper to tie in with the front. I also used this cute bonsai stamp from La La Land Crafts
I hope you like my card!

Pampered

Hiya !

Hope we are all well this fab Sunday?!

I am here today with a card that was a joy to make. I just LOVE this image from LOTV. Its divine. I am entering this card in the following challenges-

In the Pink - Fairies and Elves
We Do Doobadoo - Add texture

So the DP's are from the wonderful Maja Design. I used flowers from Kaisercraft and WOC. To add the texture to the card, I used some cheese cloth in the top left hand corner (pic further down), a white feather, some pale pink pom pom lace and some beautiful pale pink lace, and finally a tassle in the left corner with the flowers . Added to this I used some gorgeous Fran-tage around the main image. I distressed the edges and of the card body and the die cut (Magnolia Die) i edged in DI 'Spun Sugar'. The brad is pale ink and is from Kaisercraft.

I coloured this little cutie with Copics. The sentiment is part of the image and is just perfect and again this along with the main image was edged in the same 'Spun Sugar' DI.

To finish off I added some latte coloured rhinestones to the image and the sentiment, a sparklet in Cameo and a charm in the shape of a ribbon. To add a bit of sparkle to my fairy i used Wink of Stella on her wings.

I hope you like her!

Anything goes with the Option of flowers

Good Afternoon/ morning wherever you are!

I am back with a DT card for the My Besties UK Challenge Blog. This time the challenge is Anything goes with flowers. We have some fab digis as prizes and a special priced digi available to purchase, the rules are up to 3 entries with a Bestie Image and one without so you can enter up to 4 times ....

This is my design team card for the challenge, I loved this image she is so cute and can be purchased at the store Etsy.
Now for me I decided not to use flowers. I use them on all of my cards, so i decided to challenge myself and try and make a card without them.
I used DPs from the old Kaisercraft collection '13th Hour' which is a spooky halloween paper. I love it! It suited my bestie ghost perfect. I used dies from La La Land Crafts. The sentiment is also from there. I used a ghost leaf in white from WOC and a Tim Holtz die in the background.  I just love this image, i love the fact even the little pumpkin has eyelashes!
To finish off I added some rhinestones in orange and brown to add a bit of bestie glam.
Hope you like my card!
