Christmas in July

Morning all!

Hope we are all ok and having a lovely day? Cool start here in the Pilbara but looks like it could shape up to be a nice day once the heavy dew goes.

Today I am here with a Christmas card! Yep already! But kinda suits the fresh weather up here!

I would like to enter my card into the following challenge-

Deep Ocean Challenge Blog - Two stamped images
Marvelous Magnolia Challenge blog - Use Kraft paper
Live and Love Crafts Challenge blog - Christmas in July
The Ribbon Girls Blog - Anything goes with the option stars and stripes
Noor! Design UK- Something old, something new- My old is my Magnolia Ink cloud flower, had forever and my new is the Memory Box star die on the left hand side of the card in the photo.

So for this card I used two images, Little Cute Tilda and the Flower cloud. These were masked together and then coloured with Distress inks.

The papers are from the ever gorgeous Maja Design. Cant help but love them! they are beautiful!

The dies are a mix of Magnolia, Impression Obsession and Go Kreate. For the Kraft paper element I used the Santa and his sleigh die from Impression Obsession.  On all the dies I added metallic crackle paint from Tim Holtz- on the blue there is 'Brushed Pewter' and on the Kraft paper ' Tarnished Brass'. I love these metallic colours. So rich and gorgeous!!! I must  admit 'Tarnished Brass' is like liquid gold when you look at it! Swooooooon! I also added a Magnolia die to the inside of the craft in Kraft paper.

I used Ribbon from my stash and the lace is from Live and Love Crafts, it is a subtle grey with some bling on it, perfect for the colour combo I was going for.  The flowers are the gorgeous WOC as are the holly leaves which I added behind. In among the flowers you will see some bead and these are from a flourish pack from Prima which i snipped off.

On the image itself, I added some 'Frosted Lace' glitter glue to Tilda's bobble on her hat, her cuffs on sleeves and pants but also the cloud to give it some shimmer.

To finish off, I used a bling rhinestone brad and a little stocking charm.

Hope you have a lovely day!
