GDT - 6th post Christmas bingo

Hiya !!!

I am here today with m 2nd last GDT card for Time for a Magnolia Challenge and this time we are asking for Christmas bingo! So here is the bingo card! So why dont you hop over and see what the DT and rest of the GDT gals have been doing?

Bling bling
Lint/Ribbon
Kraft
Bloemen/flowers
Doily
Kant/Lace
Label/tag
Sneeuw/snow
Touw/Twine

I would also like to enter my card in the following challenges-

Tilda's Town Fave season (I LOVE winter- love snuggling down in the warmth, hot choc, cozy nights in, the rain and wind)
completely Christmas - Add texture (I used Snow tex on the church and the trees to add texture so like snow)

For my card I picked the following lines- Bling, flowers, tage, Flowers. doily, lace and Ribbon, Doily and snow.

So as you can see I made my card without a Tilda or Edwin- I used the gorgeous Magnolia 'Old Swedish Church' I love this background stamp. You can just see people making there way through the snow to the church, it tells a story i think this stamp. I coloured the church with Copics.

The papers are from Whimsy, they are sooooo winter. The dies are from Magnolia. The flowers are the usual mix of WOC and Kaisercraft. I used Snow Tex to create the snow on the trees. The falling snow is stickles.

I added some beautiful lace from my stash and some ribbon that was from Kaisercraft long ago. The doily is from Martha Steward. I added a little bell to the sentiment which is from LOTV. The pin is from Prima. On the flowers which i made I added some DI crackle paint in 'Brushed Pewter'. To the sign post I thought I would list something so used Kaisercraft mini alphas and it  reads ' Carol Service 7pm'.

Hope you can hope across and join us.

I used papers from Kaisercrafts 'Something blue' collection. Its a very chic, and is full of beautiful rich papers. The ones I used are textured, feel all fuzzy and beautiful. I wanted to make it like she was in a very ornate and glitzy frame. So I coloured her with a gold glitter pen. This adds some beautiful sparkle. I also added some yellow/gold beads to the corner of the frames. As which chic old style frame doesnt have some jewels on it! I then added some red rhinestone crowns to it (think I was feeling Patriotic!) I finished off with some silver glittery ribbon and some black flat back pearls.

The flowers are WOC. I used dies from La La Land and Magnolia. The button is the centre of the bow with some pretty striped bakers twine tied in a bow.

I added some mini alpha letters to the sign post which read 'For you' as thought this would be a lovely Mothers Day card for my mam back in England. She will live the spring/summery yellows. Finally o finish off I added so yellow/gold flat back pearls. The lace is from Spotlight.

A message from across the miles...

Hiya everyone!

Hope we are all well. Crazeeeeeeee weather here in the Pilbara, rain one moment, sun the next, then thunder! So ive been tucked up crafting today.

The challenges I would like to enter my card into are the following-

In the Pink challenge blog - Cute
Marvelous Magnolia Challenge blog- Bring on the bling
Simply Magnolia- CAS or fully loaded
lovely hAnglar or sweet Magnolia - Lace and pearls
Midweek Magnolias- Sentimental

So for this card I used the gorgeous 'Tilda in evening dress' from the 'Little Moscow Circus' collection. She is sooooooooooo chic!!! I coloured Tilda with Distress Inks. The papers I used are from Maja.

I used dies from Magnolia, Go Kreate, and Tim Holtz. The sentiment means a lot to me as I am from England and now live in Australia so 'across the miles' really hits home, esp round birthdays which this card is for. I used lace from Live and Love crafts, ribbon from my stash along with pale purple ribbon. I added some purple rhinestones to around the main image. The flowers which are made from a Magnolia die are sprayed with Tattered Angels glimmer mist.

Jungle Adventure with Edwin

Hey there!

How are we all doing? Today I am here with a card for a boy, and wow do i find these hard but got my thinking cap on and got it done!!!

I would like to enter my card in the following challenge-

Magnolia Down Under Challenge blog - Card for a boy

So for this card I used 'Animal keeper Edwin' from the pet/animal collection. I masked 3 stamps from this collection- Edwin, his land cruiser and the African sun background. The whole scene is coloured with Copics and I used soe DI 'Scattered straw' ink to help get the sandy look. The paper is from the fabulous Graphic 45 'Tropical travelogue' and is such a beautiful collection.

The die are from La La Land crafts and are the spooky vines and of course the fab Magnolia. I used ghost leaves and regular leaves from WOC. The ribbon is from my stash. I added some cheese cloth to behind the image. I distressed the image and edged it with DI 'Vintage Photo'.

I also used the Jungle signpost from the Pet/animal collection and fussy cut it out and glued it to the image. I curled two edges of the main image as I wanted a rough and ready kinda look. On the clouds I used a white marker to make them stand out.

On the inside I continued the jungle them with the vine stamp and again the jungle signpost.

I hope you like my card.

So for this card I used the gorgeous Show Stopper girls from Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps which can be found at this link. The papers are the prize from the Magazine article that I wrote for the Feb edition of Cardmaking and Papercraft (Pics to follow!!!) and its beautiful papers from the First Edition collection 'Noir et Chic' , love these glam blingy papers. The gold metallic papers are from the Kaisercraft Collection 'Curiosity'- I thought our show gal here deserved some bling!

I coloured her with copics. The dies are a mix of Magnolia, Tim Holtz and Go Kreate. The peacock feathers die is super cute and was perfect for this card, this is one of the Magnolia dies. I used gold glitter pens on the trim of her outfit and base of the feather fans. I used a red glitter pen on her shoes.

The sentiment is part of the stamps.

I added some champagne coloured rhinestones to add some extra glamour.

Hope you like her.

Dont forget to go back to the blog to hop to the next lovely lady in line!
