Tulip Wheelbarrow

Morning everyone!!!

Hope we are all well? Its a very quiet peaceful day here, bit cooler than what it normally is so doors are open and letting the lovely air flow through. The count down is on till the big move so its all go so these 5 mins of peace are worth their weight in gold!!!

I would like to enter my card into the following challenges-

Paradise of Magnolia- Anything but winter or go full in winter
Magnolia-licious- Winter theme or anything goes
Simply Magnolia- Anything goes
lovely hAnglar or Sweet Magnolia- Anything goes
Midweek Magnolias- Anything goes with a Magnolia image

So.... I thought I would step out of my comfort zone and do a card using only a background stamp rather than one of our darling Tilda or Edwin's. The image is a fave of mine and thought it would be the perfect Mothers Day card, 'Tulip Wheelbarrow'. I also used the little birds from Magnolia who are just so sweet and bluebirds are gorgeous!

I coloured my wheelbarrow and my birds with Distress inks. The dies are a mix of Magnolia and Go Kreate. I wanted a garden feel to my card and I use dies from the Doohickey clubs to get the leaves and the spade.  I love love love the the Fruit Tree from the 'Special Moment's collection, but I didnt use the tree I used the little fruits that came with it. Isnt the pear adorable!!!

The papers are from First Edition Papers and the collection is called 'Rose Garden'. On the mushroom border I cut different colours for the mushroom caps, i do love this border.

The sentiment is from a La La Land Crafts stamps.

I added some perfect pearls to the butterfly and also the flowers. The ribbon through the hearts is Shabby seam binding which can be found at Live and Love Crafts

On the inside I stamped some little birds.  Finally, to finish off I added a hummingbird charm.

Hope you have a lovely day.

Well hello!!! How is everyone!!!! Its been a while thats for sure! But it been chaos as we are moving so its crafting on the hop lol.

So I am here today with a CAS card, not my usual but I am trying to get a handle on them...boy does one need willpower where these are concerned 'nope Davinia put the brad down' that was basically how my afternoon went yesterday!!!

So I would like to enter my card into the following challenges-

The ABC Challenge blog- 'Z' is for Zero- no embellishments allowed- EEKK!

So I used 'Italian Speedy Tilda' from the recent release 'Little Italy' I love this image! Isnt she so vintage but so classy! she is the perfect Italian lady!!! Now I was planning on doing this red and white but it ended up pink lol. The papers are a rose pink/red from First Edition Paper 'Bella Rosa' collection. I love this stripe and it kinda reminded me of the classy crisp style of the Italian women.

I coloured Tilda with Distress inks and the sentiment is from a La La Land Crafts, I thought this sentiment is perfect for Tilda but also as we are moving onto the next chapter and adventure and moving!

And thats it!!!! clean, simple and not an embellishment in sight!

Have a fab day!

All About Magnolia - GDT 2

Hi there everyone!

Is everyone ready for the big day?!!! not long now till the man in red comes!!! eeek!!!! So I am here today with my 2nd card for the All about Magnolia Challenge blog as one of their GDT's.  And of course the challenge is 'All about Christmas' so why not click the link above and see what the gals have created!

For my card I used the cutie that is 'Little Whitey' isnt he so cute!!! He has been coloured with Distress Inks. The papers are from the new Pion Design release and they are gorgeous. I was going to do an all white card but these papers just won me over straight away.

I turned whitey into a shaker card, seem to just make these at Christmas! I used brown and gold shades of beads for the shaker material.

The dies are a mix of Go Kreate, Tim Holtz, Impression Obsession, Noor! Design and of course Magnolia.

The flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts and I added some Gesso to these for a more shabby chic look. Nestled in the flowers I added a cute white snowflake charm from Live and Love Crafts. The shabby seam ribbon tied through the heart tags is also from there.

On the die around the shaker I embossed it and added some Gesso but also some 'Shabby White' Fran-tage. The fran-tage was also added to the hearts which were also embossed and to the 'December' at the bottom of the image and the snowflakes. Sparkle is key and front and centre in my Christmas!!!

The lace can be found again at Live and Love crafts. The ribbon was in my stash of ribbons.

On the inside of the card I used the snowflake stamp that came with 'Little Whitey'.

Hope you have a great Christmas whatever you are doing!

I would also like to enter my card into the following challenges-

This little light of mine....

Morning!!!!

How is everyone doing? Can you believe that its nearly Christmas? I am stunned how fast this year has gone!!! I saw this stamp and now I keep singing 'This little light of mine, I'm gonna let it shine' so had to be the title!!!

I would like to enter my card into the following challenges-

Paradise of Magnolia- Christmas
lovely hAnglar or sweet Magnolia- Glitter it up
The Ribbon Girl Blog- Anything goes
Simply Magnolia- Christmas is coming
Midweek Magnolias- Anything Festive

For this card I used one of the new stamps from the latest Magnolia release 'Edwin with Christmas Lantern'. I coloured Edwin using Distress Inks. I wanted to make it rather subtle colours with a pop of red and green in the flowers.

The papers are from last years Maja Design release 'A gift for you'. I love how these have that muted background but the reds and the greens pop so well.

The dies are all by Magnolia except the stocking which is from Spellbinders. I some how had this vision of Edwin looking like kinda that new craze 'Elf on the Shelf' so I added the castle as where else would a Christmas elf live! The fence and the castle have some 'Snow Tex' on. I added some Star dust glitter stickles to both of these and also to Edwin's hat, and belt.

The flowers I made from a Doohickey die and sprayed them with glimmer mist. The middle are a deep red pearl stamen.  The red and blue flowers along with the holly are from Wild Orchid Crafts. The ribbon is from my own stast and the lace with the bling is from Live and Love Crafts.

On the stocking tops I added some Stampendous 'Crushed Glass' in silver along with some clear rhinestones. Around the edge of the image I added some Fran-tage in Aged Silver.

Hope you have a great day.

Afternoon everyone!!!

I would like to enter my card into the following challenges-

Craft Heaven Inspiration Blog- Clean and Simple or fussy and fancy

Holly Jolly Christmas challenge blog- Embossing
Magnolia Forever Challenge blog- Christmas will soon be here
Simply Magnolia- Christmas is coming
Boutique Magnolia- Christmas

Christmas tree's for sale!!!!! Edwin is selling Christmas trees...but heck he seems to have climbed into one!! EDWIN!!!!! lol

This card i decided to make it into a shaker card. I coloured Edwin with distress inks. The papers are a mix of the new Pion Design papers for Christmas and also two different shades of green card stock. I wanted it to look like Edwin was climbing about in a Christmas tree so I used lots and lots of Magnolia doohickey leaf dies and layered them around the image. I also embossed the leaves with a Cuttlebug embossing folder. On Edwin's beads on the tree I used Perfect Peals in platinum.

Now isnt that Santa suits parts fabulous!!! This is from Noor!Design UK I just love this die!! I marked Santa's suit and also added some fake snow around the collar and cuffs. The 'December' is also from the Noor!Design shop too. I used little craft pegs to attach these to the card.

On the sleigh die from Magnolia and the Sign post also from there, I used the Snow marker to mae it look like there is snow on the sleigh and the sign.

The beads are a colourful mix of greens, yellows and white with some odd red beads thrown in to add colour.

The holly leaves are from Wild Orchid Crafts and the frosted apples are from Live and Love Crafts.

So I hope you will swing by and get your tree from Edwin!!!

I coloured Snowy Tilda with Distress inks. The paper is from Pion Designs 'Paris Flea Market' they are sooooo girly!!! Beautiful pinks

The dies are a mix of Magnolia, Tim Holtz and Go Kreate. The flowers are made from a Magnolia die from last Christmas club.

To add some sparkle I embossed some Fran-tage around the edge of the main image, It is shabby pink Fran-tage which is sooo pretty!!! I also sprayed the flowers with Glimmer mist so get a lovely gold/warm shimmmer to the flowers. On the parcels I added perfect pearls in Pale Pink.  Around the edge of the parcels I edged them with Distress Ink 'Vintage Photo' just to make them stand out more.

I also used flowers from Wild Orchid Crafts and the apples are from Live and Love Crafts as is the shabby seam binding tied through the heart tags at the top. Also from there are the frosted berries that peak out of both the flower areas.

To finish off I added some pink pom pom trim to the bottom of the card from The Ribbon Girl and a silver snow flake also from Live and Love crafts.

Inside I used a Memory Box die to continue my Christmas them, I love this star die!
