Well could I resist all things Christmas related!...eerrmmm NO!
So here is my 2nd card for the challenge!!!
I went to the opposite end of the colours this time and went for a blue card base. Again I used KC card stock in 'Ocean' Such a fresh and cool colour..you can almost feel the frost! Paper wise I used KC collection 'Just Believe' as this has more silvers and pale blues to catch the tone I wanted. Again I used a Tilda image..sorry I cant remember the full name.. but its Tilda with her festive bunch to me. But I love about this is her coat! she looks all wrapped up for winter, perfect for a snowball fight!
So this time I used my Ranger 'Holographic' embossing powder and layer it on the paper and heated from below as you do in the Stampendous Frantage technique. I LOVE this powder as it gives such a great shimmer to it (see photo below) . Then used my distressing tool and distressed not only the papers I used but the actual card base itself. I then layered my papers and cut with my Bug some angel wings from LLLC dies and popped that in the background. Added to that some cheesecloth for a extra dimension in texture. Again I was playing with my new letters die and cut the words 'Let it snow' and attached it to the die cut of Tilda's ticket. I also cut a '25' out in the same colour as the words- a beautiful cool blue.
I then took my Spellbinders double embossing folder and embossed some KC white card so it looks like it is snowing. Then using my Bug and Lifestyle crafts Nesting 4 Die cut a piece for my image to be stamped on. Again Copic paper was used.
When decorating the card I used Prima 'Say it with crystals' and layered this between my two top layers. I used KC rhinestones to decorate the straight edge and the tips of the lace. Added to this I pasted some blue flowers in the bottom left hand corner.
Now for Tilda! Heres her colours for this outfit!

Fur- C3, C1
Boots- YR21, E35, E57

I then used an eye shadow applicator and smudged round the edge of image 'Archival Brilliance ink ' in 'Platinum Planet' and love the shimmer this gives. Again the Dimensional Magic came out and was applied to her flowers and hair band. I used Stickled in 'Diamond' to add some sparkle to the snowflakes. Finally some rhinestones dotted around Tilda and a snowflake charm, perfect for his image as it looks like Tilda is out with snow falling.
And there we have it..Tilda all wrapped up.
Love D xx
