Woohoo morning everyone! hope we are all well?
Well Tilda's Town have given us another fantastic challenge and its personally one of my faves- Christmas! Not only is it awesome to do but also helps get our Christmas cards done!
So without further ado lets see my entry!
For this challenge I used Tilda with wreath its such a gorgeous little stamp and I love the detail on the wreath. For the basic card stock I used KC cardstock in 'Cherry'. For the background papers I went with KC collections 'Turtle Dove' and 'Twigs and Berries'. I normally don't like to mix collections but these went well together, as they are around the same colour pallet. I also decided it was time to try out my new letter die. This is 'Sugar Cookie' from Lifestyle crafts. I love the soft look that this gives so I cut using my Bug the words 'Santa' and 'Joy' using some glittery gold paper I picked up in Spotlight. I then took my Lindy's stamp gang 'Angel wings two toned embossing powder' and sprinkled a generous amount over the corner of the card. The two toned powders come in loads of fantastic colours, I used on this card the 'Sapphire' powder. I layered my papers and again used my Bug to cut the 3 top layers with my Lifetsyle craft 'Nesting die 4' 3 cuts and layered them together. The top cut was in Copic paper on which I used my fave colour ink to stamp Tilda.
To decorate the card I then added some lovely material red flowers to the top left corner. These I bought from Spotlight. I then added a scarf charm as it is winter of course! Once I had my two die cut layers in place I then pasted some lace and some pearl string to the layer before my stamped image. I added some KC rhinestones in silver. just dotted along the points and line. Then I set to work on Tilda! Here are her colours-
Skin- YR000,E21,R01,R20,R30
Hair- YR61, R02, E08,R27
Dress/Socks- R89,R27,R59,R17
Wreath- G17,G14, Y28
Shoes- YG03, G21, YG23
Hairband/trim- Atyou spica pens in gold
Wings- C1,C3
Then I took my Dew Drop ink in 'Rose Golf' and an eye shadow applicator and gently smudged round the corners of the image. I added glitter glue in 'Romantic Rose' on top of this.
Finally I added some Dimensional Magic to Tilda's wreath.
And there have it!
Enjoy
