The Aussie gang

Howdy!

For this card I used the fab Aussie themed Magnolia's- how cute are they! I decided to use a couple of recycled items in it too.

I used some bottle tops instead of brads and buttons and some bottle labels instead of dollies. The colour matched perfectly with the Great Southern DP from Kaisercraft, so this made it really pop with those outback colours. Plus this is my fave beer out here!

I am entering this card in the following challenges :

Marvelous Magnolia Challenge blog - Anything goes!
Magnolia Down Under Challenge Blog - Anything goes!

My DP papers were the fab Kaisercraft 'Great Southern Land' and I especially like this as the red and orange is so perfect for where I live in the Pilbara...defo red dirt country here!

I popped the beer labels behind the image, just like you would do with a doily. The caps are mounted on double sided mounting tape so they stand out. For embellishments I used green ghost leaves from WOC, some brown/cream blooms and sparkly lizard as a) we have LOADS of them and I love them and b) ties in with Edwin and his Lizard. I used some calico wooden stars and formed the Southern Cross and this is just peeking out of the left hand corner.

I coloured my images with Distress ink

The papers I used at from the Kaisercraft 'Enchaned garden' collection. I just LOVE this collection. Such pretty papers. I also used the collectable from the same collection, and some Sparklets to make is sparkle. The pink flower stem is from Prima. The rings are from my own stash. and LOTS of stickles in fairy dust.

Well peoples this is an AWESOME challenge! We want to see where our girl Tilda is going to go but remember it has to be ANYTHING BUT A CARD!! So come on over and see what the rest of DT have been up to at Totally Tilda Challenge Blog

Our sponsor for this challenge is Sir Stampalot

The prize will be:
Two Magnolia Stamps

For me I used the very cute Kaisercraft Cottage which came out this year. I thought I would make into the Magnolia ink kids Christmas house. Bless Edwin he is on his own among this lot!

So the DP I used on the inside if from the Basecoat II collection from Kaisercraft. It is a lace print which looks very homey. The paper that was used on the outside is also from Basecoat II and I wanted to make it look like a log cabin. For the roof I used a mixture of Basecoat and regular cardstock from the Kaisercraft range. The decorations are from Dress it up buttons, a lovely mixture of Christmas things. I esp love the lights. I wrapped green and white candy cane striped twine around the windows and used Glittering Tilda as she looks like she is putting up the decorations.

On the fence I papered it and added some Distress paint and left it to crackle to give the old wood look. I used Vintage Photo for this.

Totally Tilda's Challenge! Buttons and Bows

Now isn't this a sweet challenge with so many possibilities. So hop over and see what me and the rest of the DT have been up to for some inspiration across at Totally Tilda Challenge Blog

Our sponsor for this challenge is Bunny Zoe Crafts

And the Prize is;

For this card the DP are from Kaisercrafts collection called 'Needle and Thread' and thought this was appropriate as it has lots of sewing things on so of course theres buttons! I used Tilda wrapped in a bow for this card. This is one of my faves to colour. I love her little suit and the bow is just gorgeous.

Now I used some sparkly buttons in this gorgeous yellow; they are peeping out from the flowers which are from WOC. I used a twirl from WOC too. I fell head over heels in love with these star buttons so I coloured them in a yellow combo to tie in with my sparkly buttons.

Tilda was coloured with copics- here is my comb0o

Skin- E50, YR000, E21, R00, R81, R20
Bow- BG000, B00, B02
Suit- R00, 11, 30, 81, 83, RV23

Here is the flowers, before the bow,

To embellish I used some Prima sparkles and placed them just across Tilda. I added some latte coloured rhinestones to two of the corners of the card. I then added a little charm in the shape of a bow which is nestled in amongst the flowers. To finish off I couldn't resist using the die cut collectable from the 'Needle and Thread' collection saying 'Cute as a button' and I added a sparkly button to this. Perfect as Tilda is as cute as a button. Finally, I added this lovely pale pink rose the the tag.

Hope you enjoy my creation.

Tilda goes Postal for Christmas - Mid Week reminder

A-Jolly-Christmas-Blinkie

Hiya Guys

Just a reminder here that there is still time to play along with our current challenge 'Just the ticket Tilda'. Totally Tilda Challenge Blog.

Our Sponsor for this challenge is Ribbon Girl

Prize on offer from The Ribbon Girl will either be:
a Ribbon Kit
or
a £10 voucher for the store

So for this card I used Bazzill bling card stock but not the bling side, the dull as its such a rich colour red. I used the G45 '12 days of Christmas' paper. Now as the theme is 'Tilda goes postal for Christmas' and for which you need to include either/or a post mark, postage stamp, or postcard. All details are on the Totally Tilda Blog and you can find the link above.

As you can see on mine I used the fab Kaisercraft clear stamps for my postage marks. For the main image I used Tilda with love letters and Santa's chair which is surrounded by post! I coloured my image in Copics,

Skin- E50. YR000, E21, R01, R30, R20, R81
Hair- YR31, E50, 33, 35
Clothes- G000, YG11,YG06,G05
Chair- E000, E50, E53, E33
Postage in Tilda's hand- Sakura

I then embellished with the red and gold beaded twirls from WOC, some holly leaves from WOC, red flowers from WOC and some berries from my stash. I added a line of lace to the bottom as I like the tradional Christmas stuff. I also added this lovely green and gold ribbon from Kaisercraft above the lace. I attached a line of red/white rhinestones. To add more to the Postal theme I attached a large letter in the top hand corner and popped a letter wood flourish behind the flowers.

To finish off I added some Stickles around the image to make it sparkle and a snowflake

As you can see I went with a blue colour combo for this card. I decided that I would do a flight scene so here you can see I have used Air hostess Tilda and Pilot Edwin...who are waiting for you to join them and give them your tickets!

I used Bazzill card stock for the main body of the card and the DP are from Paper house and Paper Pizazz. The close up of the paper will show you that I used a cloud print selection. I wanted to keep this as clean and simple as possible. So the flowers are from WOC and the die cut is from Gallivant. I used La La Land Craft's Passport stamp and map. I added a postcard charm to the very bottom.

Again, I coloured my image in Copics- here is my combo-

Ying's Choice-Auntum Vintage- Guest Designer Magnolia Down Under Challenge Blog

Hi gang!

Well this is my final week at GDT with the awesome Magnolia Down Under Challenge Blog and the final challenge for me was Ying's choice and she picked 'Autumn Vintage'.. such  cool challenge!

Fall button

I am also entering this card in;

Midweek Magnolias - lots of lovely layers

So for this card I used two different colour basic card stocks from Kaisercraft- Toffee for the actual body of the card, and then for the first layer Spiced Pumpkin. There is also a Fern thrown in there at the bottom for the grass. The DP are from Magnolia, the 'Turning leaves' collection in Vintage corn, to tie in with the theme this week. I used Tilda with Corn for the main image. She is very cute and rustic looking in her dress and tank top.

I coloured Tilda with Copics, here is my combo:

Skin-E50, 51, 53, 93
Hair- E50, YR21, E33, E55, E35
Dress- YR00, 02, 15, 04, 07, 68
Tank- YG03, 06
Corn- Y38 and Sakura Gelly Rolls green- this has glitter particles and twinkles.
Boots- E50, 43, 33, 35

I used the following dies- Lifestyle crafts for the main body of the card, Magnolia Doo Hickeys in flat, View finder, LLLC grass and heart fence. I used Spiced Pumpkin, Toffee and Fern for these to keep the colour combo the Autumn colour.

For embellies I used Split Pea coloured Rhinestones from Kaisercraft, Copper half pearls also from Kaisercraft. I used flowers from Kaisercraft, Berries from WOC, and some ghost leaves also from WOC. Behind the main image you can see some gold glitter mesh ribbon from my Christmas stash. I also added some tea coloured lace from my stash to the bottom of the card. On top of this was some Bright orange ribbon from Kaisercraft. This matched lovely with the Magnolia DP with the corn on it. I then added some Rhinestones to the top of the card in Split pea again and also to some of the ghost leaves. I finished off by adding a charm in the shape of a maple leaf.

I hope you have enjoyed my month at GDT!

Thanks for having me MDUC!!! Loved it!
