DooHickey dies only!

Hiya guys!

well this is a awesome challenge and something a big different. I am here today with my entry into the Magnolia Down Under Challenge Blog - DooHickeys only! Now what a challenge!!!

For my card I decided that I would use the Peony Petals only, this is one of my new dies and ive been dying for a chance to crack it open and use it! The DP are from the Kaisercraft Collection 'Enchanted Garden'. I thought the delicate colours would work lovely with the peonys. So I set about and cut two paper pads worth of petals and then slotted them together with brads of different colours. Once they were fixed in place I then rounded them out to form a petal simply by squeezing the petals inwards. I then added two different colours of fran-tage, shabby pink and shabby green, to them and also to the main sentiment which is also from Enchanted Garden. I then used some of the same DP papers and lined the inside with the card and used a stamp from Kaisercraft saying 'Adore' to finish off the inside.

On the outside I dipped my flowers from WOC and Kaisercraft into twicklets and added a beaded twirl and a little charm of a fairy. Finally, I added some pink and white dew drops and a silver metal corner embellishment.

I hope your like my card!

Whimsy's Applecyder Jubilee

and the last one for today! lol

This one makes me feel all warm and cozy that's for sure! again this stamp is adorable for Christmas. I coloured her in Copics and the DP are from Merry and Bright from the Kaisercraft brand.

I used dies from the La La Land crafts and Magnolia once again and added fran-tage to make her sparkle. For this one I added Snow Tex to the green tree to make it look like it had snowed and she was all warm and cozy.  I dipped my flowers (from WOC) in twinklets to make that frosted look. The ribbons are from my stash and the final touch was some cream spiders web lace behind the image.

I hope you enjoy my card!

Whimsy's Lissy's little light'

Me again!

today I thought I would get a jump on our Christmas cards when a) the house is quiet and b) when I have thee adorable images to colour.

This card features the image called 'Lissy's little light' and I adorable. I coloured up Lissy with copics and really enjoyed this colour combo. I used the DP from the Merry Christmas collection from Kaisercraft and the dies are from Magnolia and La La Land Crafts. I used aged gold fran-tage on the top of the card.

The green ribbon is from an old Kaisercraft collection and the lace is from my own stash.

Now this was a first for me, no flowers but I felt that once I got my die cuts on in the metallic paper I didn't need to add too flowers to the card.

Hope you like my card!

I added some blue spiders web mesh to behind the image and also some cheese cloth to give the card depth. The flowers are from WOC and the apple is from my stash, and both are dipped in Twinklets dust. The dies I used for this are from Magnolia (feathers), La La Land Crafts (the heart ribbon border at the bottom and inside the  card)

The sentiment stamp is from Magnolia and held on the card by a Kaisercraft blue pearl brad. I then use a Kaisercraft white pearl flourish to edge the side of Tilda's image. The Bling is from my stash as is the rainbow charm. Some dimensional magic to finish off highlights the apple.

Shot thru the heart

Happy Saturday bloggers!

Well I know the title is a bit weird but im a Bon Jovi fan and love 'Shot through the heart' and Bonny Tilda here is wielding a bow! Anyhow! I digress! Anyhow its getting near to Valentines day so made this card for my hubby.

The challenge that I am entering this card into-

In the Pink- Dies or/and punches
Cute Card Thursday - So Sweet!
Allsorts Challenge Blog - Vintage

For this card I used the gorgeous DP from Maja- what a shock being me! I love this Tilda and I do love colouring her, she is just so adorable. SO the punch I used was the Martha Steward butterfly punch and I punched out 4 butterflies, covered them in Stickles and left them to dry. Just as they were about to harden I shaped the top so it would be 3D when on the card. The die that used on this was the awesome big scalloped heart set from Spellbinders which I used behind Tilda. I also used the La La Land Crafts lovely fence. This was then placed behind the flowers from Magnolia and WOC. I used a vintage love sign in the shape of a bulb. The Next die cut is used inside the card and is a Tim Holtz tattered rose.

I coloured Tilda with Copics and then couldn't resist putting some Fran-tage around her. I also added stickles to her wings and then added some shabby pink fran-tage to the wing too.

To Finish off I then added some cheese cloth, a vintage zipper and a sentiment stamp from Penny Black.

Hope you like my creation!

Right, So for this card I used Kaisercraft's collection 'Curiosity'. Anyone who knows me knows I love the 1920's era so thought Tilda sitting on a piano like the showgirl is a lovely image. And this DP collection goes great with the colours of that era.

I coloured Tilda and her Piano with copics and added some flowers from Kaisercraft and WOC . Some spiders web ribbon on the bottom to trim the card and a feather to tie in with her head piece.

I used DooHickey  and La La Land craft dies. Some sparkle was added with stickles and sparklets in Cameo.

I added some more trim in the form of a ribbon but this time to the inside of the card.

I hope you like my creation!

lovely hAnglar or sweet magnolia - Anything goes
Fashionista Challenge Blog - Anything goes
Marvelous Magnolia Challenge Blog - Lovely Lace

I used the gorgeous Maja DP of beside the sea which is lovely fresh blues and all things seaside. The image I used is my new stamp of Tilda with her life buoy. I coloured Tilda with Distress Markers as wanted a seaside weathered look. I used flowers from Kaisercraft and WOC to decorate. The sentiment is from La La Land Crafts. I distressed the DPs. I used a Martha Steward punch to be able to slot the red ribbon through the cardstock. I used red lace from my stash and blue ribbon from Papermania. A 'Happy Days' brad finishes off this card I think. I added red rhinestones and a ships wheel charm to the bottom.

Inside I used the La La Land lover banner die and also the fence and chopped part off.
