So...Im getting a bit more daring with my folds...I must admit it took me a while but now ive got it! and I love these cards! Folds arnt my forte but im really starting to get the hang of them! This is the tutorial link for the Book fold card  .For this card I used two stamps that I have had for a while on the front. I masked Little Hoppy with the Sunflower background both from Magnolia. I coloured both with Distress Inks. On the inside of the the card, I use two of the Tilda's from last years Spring release. They are both gorgeous but I adore Tilda with the dandelions. I dont think you can get any more Springtime/Easter than these popping up all over and the daffodils. Always beautiful around Easter.

The papers...arnt these sunflower papers just beautiful! these are from Pion Designs 'The songbird secret'. The sunflower paper is my fave of the collection.

Now I didnt go crazy on the die front or the embellies what with having such a masked large image on the front. I used flowers from Wild Orchid Crafts. I added a simple bow....another thing I need to get better at lol...bow-hopeless....to the front and popped a moonstone brad also from Wild Orchid crafts through the centre.

The lace...oh the lace...sigh...is stunning. Both of them are from Noor!Design UK. The ribbon rose lace i just popped on the top.

Hope you have a lovely weekend

Dawning of Spring

Hi!

Ok...so this might be a strange title considering that in Australia we are going into Autumn next but even though I have been here years I still think as this time of year as spring...I know....dont think I will ever not to be honest lol.

I would like to enter my card into the following challenges-

Lovely hAnglar or Sweet Magnolia- Anything goes
Fussy and Fancy Friday- Anything goes
All about Magnolia Challenge blog- All about your fave colours
Paradise of Stamps challenge blog- Spring
Midweek Magnolias- Bingo- Straight down middle and diagonal from top left

For the card I used a really boho chic Tilda in my mind...she is very floaty with her hair and the flowers in it. I think she is gorgeous and love the feel of this stamp. I coloured Tilda with Distress Inks. In the background you can see stamped in Pumice Stone Distress Ink some of the postage stamp images that Magnolia also do.

The papers are from the Pion Design collection 'Songbird Secrets' its a beautiful springtime collection and fast becoming one of my faves from them.

The dies are from Magnolia. I used Flowers from Wild Orchid Crafts. The dream catcher is a new fave addition to my collection. Its from Scrapinic and I love it. The lace is from the beautiful Noor!Design UK.

I edged round the die cuts and the layers of the card with Distress Ink Vintage Photo.

Hope you have a great weekend.

down at the bottom of the garden...

Hi!

Hope everyone is well. Its bank hol monday here and been a warm one. A beautiful day but a warm on. Been nice and peaceful so perfect time to blog.

I would like to enter my card into the following challenges-

Midweek Magnolias - Bingo-- ive gone for straight down the middle!
Fussy and Fancy Friday challenge - Anything goes
lovely hAnglar or Sweet Magnolia- anything goes
Magnolia Forever- Ribbon and lace
Deep Ocean Challenge blog- Add lace

This card is for a friend of ours who has recently found her perfect home...and she loves to garden so had to be something spring time-ish. I think we spend a great deal of our time talking about gardening and our latest trip to the garden centre. lol.

The card shape itself is a fun card... a push me pull me as i call it but it can be found here at its real name Double slider card.

The papers I used are from Pion Design and one of their latest 'Songbird secrets' and its such a beautiful collection of papers for Easter/Spring time. I used some garden theme stamps for the image which are all from Magnolia... Tulip wheelbarrow, Tilda with daffodils and Tilda working in the garden. All the images were coloured with Distress inks. On the wheelbarrow flowers I stamped these twice and cut them and added some double sided mounting foam to make them pop. On both Tilda's I added my latest obsession....Nuvo crystal drops which give a pearl like drop....and dotted these round. To add some more sparkle on the tulips I popped some orange flat back rhinestones.

The lace...ohhhh the lace is a rose ribbon lace and this is from Noor! Design UK and think I have this in each colour its just so pretty.

The flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts. I popped a little dragonfly charm in among them.

To finish off I added some pale yellow lace through the holes to all you to pull the card and see the hidden images

Hope you have a great week.
