Christmas Shopping

Happy Sunday!

I am here with a card that I have been working on this afternoon. She is a cutie. The image is by Art By Miran and can be found here Etsy.

The challenges I wish to enter my card in are the following-

Completely Christmas - anything goes for Christmas but lets add a twist- lets see something with letter 'S'

artbymiran challenge - Anything goes

So for this card I used the Kaisercraft paper pad from the collection 'Gingerbread' again. I love this fun filled pad. Its so different from my usual colours for Christmas so it pushed me a bit.
I used dies from Magnolia and Tim Holtz. I coloured the little lady with Copics. Behind the image you will see a doily from WOC. The flowers are a mix of Kaisercraft and WOC. On the trees I added some Perfect pearls in 'Bisque'.  The sentiment is from LOTV.

For the letter 'S' i used a Snow Tex pen to create snow, this was heated so it fluffed up. How fab is it! I kinda imaged that this little lady was out Christmas shopping in the snow and added so white paint pen dots around her to look like little snowflakes.

To finish off I added pale green and red rhinestones to add some twinkle. Its Christmas so gotta have some sparkle!

Hope you like my card!

Grace bakes up a storm

Yay!!!!! Its Christmas decs time!!! woohoohoo!!!!

So i thought i would take a bit of time out from wrestling the tree from its box and do a wee bit of craft!

The challenges i would like to enter my card in are the following-

Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps- Wednesday challenge- anything goes!
We Do Doobadoo -  Get Festive

Soooo. I used the gorgeous Grace from Kraftin' Kimmie- how cute is she!!! Love her gingerbread men! I coloured her with Copics and used DPs from Kaisercraft ' Gingerbread' collection. I have been DYING to use the little gingerbread men papers!!! The dies are a mix of Magnolia, Sizzex, and Memory box. I am TOTALLY   with these gingerbread men dies!!!! they have had a lot of use this festive season bless them!!!

Now in my stash I found some dress it up buttons and there he was a little gingerbread man!!! I also added a chopping board which says 'Baked with love'. Im a bit of a baker and this is something I do esp if Phil isnt well I bake to make him feel better.

The sentiment came with little Grace. I stamped it in DI 'Festive berries'. To finish off I added some pale green rhinestones to the card. As every girl loves sparkle at Christmas!

Hope you like my card!

Santa Edwin and his letter

Heyyyyyyy!!!

How are we all? Ive had a busy day yesterday sending all our international Christmas cards, boy i was all stamped out and im not talking rubber stamps! So they have gone, now on to the Aussie cards. So I made this card as it seemed rather in tune with what I was up to yesterday!

So I am here today with a card that I am in love with ♥. This is my fave stamp from the new Magnolia collection 'waiting for Christmas'. I was hanging out for this stamp for soooooo long! And I think it might be my fave Edwin stamp of all time!

I would like to enter my card in the following challenges-

Completely Christmas - Anything goes but let add a twist- lets see some embossing
lovely hAnglar or sweet Magnolia- Use a Die cut
Magnolia Down Under Challenge blog - Holly and bells
Tilda's town neighbourhood blog - Joys of the Seaon
Live and Love crafts - Fave Christmas combo
Marvelous Magnolia Challenge blog - Anything goes Christmas
Time for a Magnolia Challenge - Fave stampEdwin as Santa!

So I FINALLY gave in and used the gnome papers out of the new Maja collection. I have been hanging on to these as a) i just LOVE gnomes and b) thought it would be perfect for Edwin. Kinda reminded me of him dressed like Santa! Hehe! So I layered up some of the DPs and backed them with white card stock. I like traditional colours for my Christmas, well now I do im not so much the riot of colour that I used to be lol. I love the classic red and white combo for the season, and for once I havent used any green! Nor have I used any flowers.

I used the gorgeous dies from Magnolia, Memory box and the awesome present stack from Tim Holtz. So they stood out I edged them with DI 'Vintage Photo'. On the stocking I added little red beads so it looked like and embroidered stocking.

On the main image I masked the two stamps together and coloured them both with Copics. I cant for the life of me remember the name of the envelope! But its an old one and ive had it for ages and Edwin just sat so cute on top! On the holly on the envelope I added some more red beads to make it look like berries.

I embossed some Chunky White fran-tage around the image so it looks like snow and stamped some postal marks as Edwin is sitting on a letter!

To the card body I added some lace and red shabby seam binding from the ever gorgeous Live and Love Crafts. Some red glitter sticky ribbon and some cheesecloth finished it off .

The sentiment is from LOTV and stamped in DI 'Festive berries'. To finish off Edwin I added a little white bell also from Live and love crafts, and some rose coloured Rhinestones from Kaisercraft. Oh and a button on the red ribbon!

I hope you like my card!

Hey there!!!
Hope we are all good and getting festive?
I have finally got all my cards sorted- international ones posted, Aussie ones next week. Phew! what a job!!!! but its worth it!

I would like to enter my card in the following challenges-

Completely Christmas - Anything goes with a twist, lets see some embossing
Deep Ocean Challenge Blog- Shabby
lovely hAnglar or sweet Magnolia - Use a die cut
Magnolia Down Under Challenge Blog- Holly and bells
Tilda's town neighbourhood challenge blog - Joys of the season
Live and Love Crafts inspiration and challenge blog- Favorite Festive Christmas combo

I am here today with little Tilda. The stamp I used is Christmas Tilda with vintage roses. Isnt she just delightful ♥. I coloured Tilda with Distress Inks. I am the first to admit that i find red hard no matter what the medium but I shall persist and get there. Anyhoo!

The papers that I used for this card are from ever fabby Maja from their Christmas collection last year. I love the traditional colours. The dies are a mix of Magnolia, Memory box and Impression Obsession. I just love this Santa Silhouette. Oh and the gingerbread men!  how cute are these.  I used some embossing on the Christmas behind the main image. It is embossed in hologram gold powder. On the  bouquet she is holding, i used red beads for the flowers. The flower is held together by a rhinestone brad.

Speaking of flowers, this is my first real try at making my own. Had the dies a bit and finally managed to give it a go and get something resembling a flower! hehe! Behind the main image is some cheesecloth to add some texture.

I added some rose coloured rhinestones and to finish off some green shabby seam ribbon.

Hope you like my card.

The sentiment is from LOTV and also embossed in holgram gold.

Ok guys so the papers are the new release from the ever awesome Maja- i LOVE this release! so cute!!! esp the gnomes which i cant bring myself to use they are that cute!!! The tree is colour in Copics and i have used some Perfect Pearls to highlight where we would have our white lights. I used to be ALL about colour for Christmas but last year had a change and now its the traditional colours, and white lights. Think with us being in Australia now i like the white lights as reminds me of frost..or maybe ive just grown up lol

The dies are a mix of Go Kreate, Magnolia, Memory box and Tim Holtz. The snow which i think is super cool and love playing with is from a Snow Tex pen. You dab it on , heat and bam you have snow!

I used some glitter pens on the baubles on the tree. On the tree and the stocking i used red beads. To finish off I used some shabby seam ribbon and attached a little white bell...as what is Christmas without bells!

Now this is all what our Christmas is about , but also the post! We are constantly posting things back home to England, so to add that element in I stamped postage marks around the image and added some 'Shabby White ' Fran-tage to the outside of the card to add a bit more to the snow effect. Lastly some rose rhinestones and we are done.

Hope you like my card!
