Spring into Easter...
Hiya guys!
Again apologies for it being such a long time between posts. We have family here at the moment so we have been having lots of fun adventures with them as they are here from England so glad to be making most of sun rather than snow!
I would like to enter my card into the following challenges-
Magnolia-licious Challenge blog- Anything goes with option of Easter
All about Magnolia challenge blog- All about Bingo - I have Pearls, Spring and Tilda
Lovely hAnglar or Sweet Magnolia Challenge blog- Anything goes
Paradise of Magnolia Challenge blog- Happy Easter
Simply Magnolia Challenge blog- Easter
Petal Lu Challenge blog- Anything goes- On Facebook now
This time I decided to try a card my friend sent me the details of which she calls a cracker card...so I am sticking with that name! I cant find the actual link to the tutorial but when I do I shall add it to the post. But I must admit that I do love this layout of card as its perfect for me for posting cards back home to England!
I used Tilda in egg and she is a fave Easter stamp of mine. She looks so cute but I love the detail on the egg and the shadows you can achieve with it. I coloured Tilda in Distress Inks.
I used papers from Pion Design's collection from two year ago I think. Its called 'Secrets of the Songbird' its perfect for Easter.
I used the wreath die from Spellbinders and its a beautiful die and cuts so lovely. The bees are from Magnolia. I used a small flower die also from Magnolia.
Now the bunny ears..they are from Tim Holtz. I embossed them in one of my fave embossing powders around -Zing- and I used the delicate pastel colours- blush, sand, lavender and mint. I loved this little surprise element to the card.
I hope you have a great weekend
