Anything Goes (A)

 Vintage (B)
(B) Anything Vintagewill lovely for this challenge, must be detailed on your blog to qualify

or any other projects that you like

Or you can enter one project without a Bestie Image.

So for this card I used one of my all time fave besties images  isnt she just delightful! She can be found here at Etsy

So again for this card I coloured her in copics. I used DPs from the awesome Kaisercraft collection called 'Twigs and Berry'. Its a very traditional Christmas paper, very a Christmas Carol kinda colours which i loved for this challenge, that being vintage. Now this time I coloured her using the W's of the copic range. I like the old colour they give you and i added a pop of colour by adding red to parts of her outfit. I was kinda going for the colour of the film 'White Christmas' all old and deep colours.

The dies are from Memory box which i just love, esp this cute little gingerbread men *swoon*  arnt they adorable!!!! I used the banner die from La La Land crafts, and the sentiment is from LOTV and is stamped in the beautiful 'Festive Berries DI.

To finish off i added some rhinestones to make her sparkle a bit more as she at a Winter Skater party.

Hope you like her.

Its Christmas all around with the Besties DT's joining together!

Let-it-Snow-Blinkie

Woohooo! the besties DT's around the world are feeling festive and we have joined together to get in the spirit of the season! check out Besties International Challenge so what are you waiting for!

So here is my card for the challenge as part of the UK Besties team. The image i used is available here Etsy and its image IMG964

I used a Copics to colour my little lady and used DP's  from Kaisercraft Christmas collection for way back. Now since we have a theme to this Christmas Challenge and its Christmas with Music i thought using paper with holly on was a good idea as i have a fab sentiment reading 'Deck the halls'. So The image I used was to make it look like our little lady was decorating her front door and bringing in presents.

I created a scene by adding a new fold to the card, basically folding the front in half. Inside the card I wanted to make it like a living room so I used a die from La La Land Crafts  and die cut a tree and decorated it with rhinestones. I then used a die also from them to die cut musical notes. Its almost like our Bestie is singing as she decorated and the music is travelling through the house. The verse from 'Deck the halls' is a Whimsy stamp.

I used Magnolia dies for the trees on the outside of the card and for the bow. I used flowers from WOC and to tie in with the holly theme I added some holly leaves to the poinsettias from WOC. Finally I tied some red thread through the verse and added some green rhinestones.

I hope you enjoy my card.

I coloured my little pup with Copics. The papers are from Maja (Swooooon) I just love the fresh blues. The dies are from Magnolia (shock horror!). The doily is a Martha steward which has a iridescent shimmer to it but it doesnt show up on the pic (boooo!).

Since its Christmas a bit of bling was needed so I used this awesome silver sparkly sticky ribbon. I added some cheesecloth to add some texture. The tags, I added some shabby seam binding to the tags. On the bow, the centre has a cute pale blue flat back pearl.

On the inside I carried on the lights theme with this cute die from Impression obsession, I love this little string of lights.

Finally, to add a bit more sparkle I finished off with some pale blue rhinestones from Kaisercraft.
