Super Edwin !
Hi all!
Well its finally stopped raining here in the Pilbara in Australia,...how long for i dont know but winter is most certainly here!! its dropped in temp thats for sure!
I am here today with a card I would like to enter into the following challenges-
All about Magnolia Challenge blog- Anything goes
Indonesia Magnolia Lovers Challenge blog- Use a Tilda or Edwin
Midweek Magnolias- Masculine
Simply Magnolia- Anything goes
The ABC challenge blog 'H' for Happy birthday!
So for this card I used a stamp that i have been trying to get a hold of FOREVER! That stamps is 'Super Edwin' isnt he a sweetie. Now im just getting used to doing male cards, and this is a male Happy Birthday card as realized that I didnt have any made ooops!
So for the papers I used Kaisercrafts 'Garage Days' collection. Its a great mix of blues and oranges and has fabulous metallic paper - defo a must if you are making male cards!
I coloured Edwin with Distress inks. I used some pale blue spiders web mesh behind the image to give it texture. I added a dark grey ribbon (cant have a card without ribbon sorry men!) The film strip is from Tim Holtz. The tag is from my stash. The metal embellie is from 'Close to my heart' I added two bronze brads to hold the film strip in place. I thought the sentiment 'believe' on some cloth material suited our super hero!
Hope you like my little guy!

raindrops on roses...
Good morning gang!
Hope we are all well today?
I am here with a card that was inspired by a Facebook challenge for the fabulous 'Outside the lines' and it was a picture inspiration from the non other Mary Poppins. So I decided that since Mary always had her umbrella I would use ' Drip drop Tilda'.
The challenges I would like to enter my card into are the following-
Tildas Town- Flowers
The Ribbon Girl challenge blog- Add lace or ribbon
Indonesia Magnolia lovers challenge blog -Use a Tilda or Edwin
lovely hAnglar or sweet magnolia Sparkle
Magnolia forever challenge blog- Butterflies
Paradise of Magnolia - Charm
Paradise of stamps- Bling
The ABC challenge blog- 'H' Happy birthday
Stamp and Create - Anything goes
Live and Love crafts- Signs of spring
Stamping sensations- Pretty in pink
Kit and Clowder - Flowers
So for this card I used some papers that were a gift for an article for an English craft Magazine. The papers are from 'First Edition papers' and the collection is called 'Floral Pavilion'. Such a beautiful spring time paper pad and some of it is textured!!!
I used dies from Magnolia and Tim Holtz. I coloured Tilda with Distress ink, the new colours from the ever fabulous Mr. Holtz. I used flowers from WOC and Kaisercraft. I used shabby seam binding, pale pink ribbon and pale pink lace. The butterflies are are Martha Steward punch punched twice and made 3D by gluing and bending wings of top butterfly. I added a umbrella charm to stay with the them.
Now Mary always had her trusty friend Bert so I stamped this adorable dapper gentleman Edwin on the inside.
The birthday sentiment is from LOTV.
Hope you have a fabulous day!
