Hi there!!!
I am here today with a card i have made for a friend as her sister is getting married. Its a beach wedding and I tried to stick to her colors- blue for her flowers was the main one. And later in the pics you will notice the dog, as her doggy shall be there! so i incorporated this into the card too.
So the challenges that I am entering with this card (permission from my friend ! lol) are-
Time for a Magnolia challenge- Anything goes
Simply Magnolia - Gorgeous Blooms
Creative Inspirations- Cute characters
Divas by design - Lets go to the movies (the pose of Tilda and Edwin remind me of the last dance in 'Dirty Dancing!)
Magnolia Down Under Challenges- Weddings and Anniversaries
Well The DPs are from the gorgeous Maja Design. I cant get enough of Maja i just LOVE IT!!!! I used a Magnolia dies on this and masked the 2 images together as thought this was a perfect beachy kinda of scene. I edged the whole card with DI 'Tumbled Glass' to tie in with the flowers. The image itself is edged with 'Tumbled Glass' at the top and as you move down the image you will see the bottom is edged with 'Scattered Straw' this reminded me of the sand.
The flowers, well the bride has had her sister dying her flowers to get the right shade of blue so I ised these gorgeous rich blue blooms from WOC and Kaisercraft. I added a beaded twirl and a pin from Prima. Oh and I coloured the image with copics, the bride has bright red hair hence the hair colour.
Here you can see the little embellies I added in the star fish, the two rings under the flowers - the one with the stone read on the band 'i love you'. As it is a beach wedding and I know the bride has shells in her bouquet I added a white shell to peep out
In the top flowers a 'Love' charm is nestled.
Now,I promised a doggy and here she is! With her blue bow to match the theme!
I hope you like my card!
