Once upon a time....

Hi

Today I am here with a fairy tale themed card. Again I have tried my hand at just using dies....not as easy as one first thought!!!

I would like to enter my card into the following challenges-

lovely hAnglar or Sweet Magnolia- Anything goes
Deep Ocean Challenge blog- Anything goes
Magnolia Forever - Monochrome
Paradise of Magnolia- Sparkle and Shine
Paradise of Stamps- Fairy
Noor! Design UK challenge blog- Flowers and Lace

The papers that I used for this card are some of my fave papers that Pion have ever done, the Paris Flea Market. They are so versatile yet delicate and beautiful. I thought that they were perfect for a fairy tale card, all that dreamy pink!

On the darker pink die cut that the castle is on I embossed it with a heart embossing folder from Cuttlebug.

The dies I used are all Magnolia except for the shape of the card which is from Go Kreate. On the castle I used some crackle paint in 'Rock Candy' from the Distress Ink range. I sprayed the die cuts with glimmer mist and edged them with Distress Ink 'Vintage Photo' to make them stand out. I think it works great on the cat! I kinda imagined the cat to be like Salam from Sabrina the Teenage witch! This cat even has glittery whiskers!

I used flowers from Wild Orchid Crafts as are the moon stone brads.

The sentiment is from Magnolia also. On the sign post die I added mini alphas to read 'Fairy tale'

The resin corner is from Prima and can be found at Live and Love Crafts.

Every fairy tale needs bling so I added some rhinestones to the castle and the sign post.x

The lace trim is from Noor! Design Uk and I love the girly-ness of this trim!

To finish of I added a charm of the ultimate fairy...tinkerbell!

Hope you have a magical week ahead!

buzz buzz buzz..

Hi

Today I am here with a card that is slightly different for me...not image and all dies! I am trying to you this kinda card more!

I would like to enter my card into the following challenges-

All about Magnolia Challenge- All about Doohickeys
Deep Ocean Challenge blog- Anything goes
lovely hAnglar or Sweet Magnolia- Anything goes
Simply Magnolia- Anything goes
The ABC Challenge blog - 'P' is for Pearls

The dies I used for this card is a mix of die clubs but mainly the Buzz die club that was a release a couple back. I love the little bees and the hive...isnt it just the cutest! I wanted my card to be nestled into the leaves of a tree...theres a whole little community in there the beese going about their business.

The papers are from Craft and You and can be found at Noor!Design shop. These papers are now one of my faves and play a lot in my crafting.

All the die cuts were edged with Distress Inks ink pad 'Vintage Photo' and sprayed with glimmer mist.

The sentiment is from a La La Land Crafts and its true!

I used some skeleton leaves to add texture and to make the bees stand out along with the hives I used double sided tape to make them pop, and added a flat back pearl to them.

On the inside of the card I used my fave die of the collection, its an embossing one and leaves a little print of the bees path.

Hope you have a great weekend.

let pop a bottle!

Hi there!

Today I am here with a card that is for my father in laws birthday. Male cards are always hard and for this gent even harder as he defo doesnt like all the fancy bits and bobs!

I would like to enter my card into the following challenges-

Simply Magnolia- Anything goes
lovely hAnglar or sweet magnolia- Anything goes
Marvelous Magnolia Challenge blog- Ribbon or lace
Paradise of Magnolia- Show us your colours
The Ribbon Girl challenge blog- Sept challenge- Anything goes
All about Magnolia challenge blog- All about Doohickeys

This card I chose an Edwin of course as its a male bday card. This end I think is perfect for male celebrations and he looks so dapper. I coloured only part of this image...the hair and skin. I used Mr. Toms paper collection from Pion and paper pieced the outfit. Something I havent done in a long time but realised again how much fun it can be to do it. Note to self do more!

The dies....well 8 of them are from Magnolia...I do love a good die! The shape of the card is from Go Kreate and I cannot remember where the star hidden behind the cake is from.

The sentiment is from a La La Land Crafts stamp and goes so well with this...well it is a birthday!

The cake, the balloons, tags and the loopy die cut border are all embossed by a cuttlebug embossing folder which is a dotty one.

Around the die cuts I edged them all with Distress Ink.

The balloons string is twine.

Finally I added some gold glitter glue to the champagne bubbles and to Edwin's buttons and some blue rhinestones so the cake and balloons.

Hope you have a lovely weekend.

Snow globe magic

Happy Wednesday!

This card well, I started thinking about it when I was out reading in the gardening...yes lovely sunshine and I am plotting Christmas cards....crazy eh!

I would like to enter my card into the following challenges-

Noor!Design UK challenge blog- Flowers and lace
Deep Ocean Challenge blog- Bingo-lace/die cuts/charm, lace/flowers/pearls
Magnolia-licious Challenge blog- Anything goes
Midweek Magnolias- Anything goes
Simply Magnolias- Anything goes

So for this card I decided to make a shaker card and also for a change some of the mini Magnolia stamps. I dont use them a lot but this is one of my fave Christmas stamps that Magnolia have done so paired with the mini lamppost I thought it looked cute. I coloured both the images with Distress Inks.

The shape of the card is a Dutch Doobadoo template 'Snow globe' and you can find it at the gorgeous Noor! Design UK along with the lace at the bottom used as a frill, the 'let it snow' sentiment which is the paper art from Dutch Doobadoo. One stop craft shop! The papers are from Maja Design 'Home for the Holidays' from last years Christmas release.

For my shaker material I used a mix of clear beads, white glitter and also the shaker mix packets from Auzz Trickets and Krafts.

The dies are from Magnolia and Noor!Design UK.

The flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts and the lace with peals is from Live and Love Crafts.

I added a snowflake charm to finish up.

Hope you have a great rest of the week.

Gone with the wind...

Happy Sunday!

Hope we are all good?

Todays card well its title is inspired by where we live...its kinda windy! we are right on the coast but the hotter it gets the windier it gets but I dont mind its refreshing! Blows the cobwebs away and also can smell the sea so for me its a win win...oh and the washing dries fast!!

I would like to enter my card into the following challenges-

lovely hAnglar or Sweet Magnolia- Use a die cut
The ABC Challenge blog- 'O' for open
Magnolia-licious- Anything goes
Time for a Magnolia Challenge- Glitter/bling and lace
Magnolia Forever- Charmed
Marvelous Magnolias- Lace or Ribbon

Now for this card I used 'Tilda in the wind' from the Seaside collection 2016. Now this is me in the wind at where we live....or would be if i wore a skirt as its a tad windy here!!! I coloured Tilda with Distress Inks.

The papers are from Crafts and You 'Wedding Garden' and I must say I do love this company. They can be found at Noor! Design UK as can Tilda and her friends. The dies...well the shape that Tilda is on is from Little Darlings Rubber Stamps as are the wheel dies are the side, all again from Noor!design UK. The rest of the dies are from Magnolia.

The flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts and this colour combo is perfect for spring and one of my faves.

The gorgeous lace how beautiful is is with the pearls! Well that is also from Noor! design UK.

To add some bling to the card I used Perfect Pearls, Stickles glitter glue and also some Wink of Stella clear on the balloons. I finished off with a ladies bonnet charm and a pearl hat pin...think that Tilda might need it for her hairband in that wind! The sentiment is from a La La Land Crafts stamp.

Hope you have a great week ahead.
