Champers and Strawberries - a sweet delight!
Afternoon everyone!!
Well yep weather continues to be crackers here....not meant to have this kinda rain now!!!! so its gloomy and soggy...so what better than thinking of summer days. And that this card for me. Champers and strawberries what a sweet delight and what a scrummy combo!
I would like to enter my card into the following challenges -
Deep Ocean Challenge Blog - Bingo (sentiment, metal, tag)
Simple Magnolia- Heavy Metal
Magnolia Forever- Delicacies and sweet delights
Midweek Magnolias- Shape card
Marvelous Magnolia Challenge Blog- Lace and pearls
For this card I masked 'Bubble Tilda' to sit in her champagne glass and what goes perfectly and so yummy with champers.....yep strawberries! The strawberry is the Magnolia stamp 'Summer Fruits' its one of my faves...you can just see her sitting by pool with her strawberry in her drink...what a lovely sweet delight!
I coloured Tilda with Distress Inks. The papers are from Maja Design.
The card is chocker block with dies from Go Kreate and Magnolia. The lace is from The Ribbon Girl, The ribbon is from my stash. The sentiment I chose for this card is 'Celebrate' and is from a La La Land Crafts.
The metal is a metal strawberry that dangles off the heart tag at the top.
The flowers are a mix of the Maggie Poinsettia die which was sprayed with 'Dazzling dimonds' glimmer spray, and has a pink stamen through the middle and Kaisercraft. To this I added some cheesecloth, and some Magnolia Chandelier bling and a crystal pin. Behind the flowers you can also see some pale purple 'Spiders web mesh' peeking out which is also from Ribbon girl at the link above.
To finish off I added some hot pink flat back pearls. I love this combo of the beautiful purpley/blue papers from Maja and the hot pink together. On the inside I embossed in gold powder the same strawberry that is on the front.
Now where did i leave my champers....make that cup of tea!!!
Have a lovely weekend!

Birthday Happy Mail with Mail Tilda
Good Evening lovelies!
Well winter continues here- not like normal winter in the Pilbara, which is normally dry its has actually been raining. So perfect weather to craft.
I would like to enter my card in the following challenges-
Simply Magnolia - Heavy Metal
Marvelous Magnolia Challenge blog- Lace and pearls
Tilda's Town Neighborhood Challenge blog- Happy Everything
Paradise of Magnolia - Fave colour
Stamping Sensations - May Flowers
Time for a Magnolia Challenge- Birthday Cards
I used Mail Tilda from the new Magnolia collection 'World Wide Web 15'- thought she was kinda cute holding her envelope and looks like she is holding a very special bday card! I coloured Tilda with Distress inks. Around the edge of the image I used DI 'Vintage Photo'.
I threw a boat load of dies at this card- Go Kreate, Magnolia Spellbinders.
The lace is from Live and Love crafts, as is the pink trim along the bottom which is actually from Melissa Frances.
The metal aspect is a metal envelope which ties in nicely with the image.
I added gold glimmer spray to the hand made flowers. The final touches were the rhinestone pink heart on the envelope, the pearl earrings, a peal pin and some pale pink ribbon and string tied through the dies. Oh and also a little enamel heart above the flowers.
Hope you have a lovely day.
