four flower ladies all in a row..but no wall flowers!

me again! Yes i am on a roll today! getting all my blogging done when the weather cant make its mind up!

So here I am, and I am here with the gorgeous flower ladies of SBS, these are just divine and soooo much fun!

So lets get this post going eh!

Right, the first one is the gorgeous Betty Rose

So for this card I used Kaisercrafts 'Art of life' its a gorgeous vintage collection and i thought it matched well. Now as my hubby is a Yorkshire-man I thought i would do a bit of the white rose which is the flower of Yorkshire. I used the Copics W's for this. For her hair i went with the T numbers that I am no longer fearing lol. Now for the red. The other rose is the Lancaster rose which is red (war of the roses) and there is rivalry between to the two areas so what with the sentiment talking about thorns, i used some red roses as its a 'thorny' issue! The flowers are from WOC and Kaisercraft, i also added in some holly leaves as these have shape thorny bits. The shape of the card is from a Go Kreate die.  The lace is from my stash and the ribbon is something i picked up on my travels. Added to this some cheesecloth for a bit of texture. I edged the body of the card, the image and the sentiment in DI  'festive berries'

Right card 2!- Corrine Calla-Lily

Again this image was coloured with copics. I wanted to keep it simple as the sentiment says 'beauty ca be found in the simplest forms' and that is the Calla- Lily so it called for a bit of CAS.  I used Bazzill bling card stock for the main body, the DPs are from Kaisercraft collection 'The Lake House'. The ribbon again is from my stash. And after that some clear rhinestones were added just to give it that bit of sparkle. I didnt go any further as think the Calla-Lily is a simple but gorgeous flower and I didnt want to take away from the gorgeous image that Betty had drawn for us.

Card 3-

Ok, so i like to be a bit different and hence the blue lipstick! just getting it out there lol. Again I decided to work on my CAS cards 9im not know for them lol, i need the practice!) and i just LOVE these papers from Kaisercraft. I love the clashing combo that it brings. Again this little lady was coloured with copics. I used a postcard charm as postcards are always part of our adventures. I then teamed this with some blue sparklets to match her dress and lipstick and there she is!

Card 4-

Ok the CAS didnt last long did it! This one is my oriental them as the lotus flower and the sentiment make me feel oriental! So the die is from La La Land Crafts and its a fave of mine. I used DPs from Kaisercrafts 'Paradiso' colletion as the flowers behind very much remind me of theme.  I used a burnt orange feather to add a bit of texture to the card. The flowers are a mix of Kaisercraft and WOC and the ghost leaves are from WOC also.

I coloured this lovely image with copics and again used clashing colours as I just love this colour combo.

Phew! thats all folks!

Hope you like my cards.

The DPs are from Kaisercraft collection 'Limelight' which has all these wonderful warm beige/natural colours mixed with beautiful pops of green. Perfect and made for this colour combo i used i feel.

Magnolia Forever - Anything goes
Time for a Magnolia Challenge - Shabby chic or vintage.
The ABC Challenge blog- Lots of layers
Papertake Weekly Challenge- Oh so cute!
Divas by design- Anything goes!

So I used Libra Tilda and coloured her with copics.  The DPs are from Melissa Frances 'Vintage Attic Treasures' which are all a vintage yellow shabby chic oldly worldy feel to them and perfect for the yellow in one of the above challenges. I used a Magnolia die for the sentiment which is from La La Land crafts.

I used yellow ribbon from Websters pages and from my own stash. The yellow lace at bottom is also from stash. For the metal aspect I used  a gold corner embellishment.   The flowers are a mix of WOC and Kaisercraft. Around the edge of the main image you can see stamped cirles in DI 'vintage photo'. I edged this and all the papers and the die cut with DI 'Scattered Straw', although only on the main image and the white paper at an angle did i use 'shabby white' fran-tage'.

Around Tilda herself i used a Jelly roll pen in white/clear to add some sparkle to her.

Behind the main image I added some mesh and some cheese cloth to give some texture. At the bottom under the flowers a feather adds a touch of floaty softness.

Finally, the buttons. I LOVE these buttons as they are glittery! And some cream rhinestones to stay with the colour scheme.

Hope you like my card!

Aquarius Tilda

Hi everyone

I am here today with a card that i made last night. I was dying to use my new Tilda stamp so here she is!

The challenges I am entering my card into are-

Midweek Magnolias - Pretty in Pink
Magnolia Forever - Anything goes
Lovely hAnglar or Sweet Magnolia - Include a sentiment

So for this card i used a Go Kreate die for the main body shape. I then stamped Tilda and coloured her with Copics, with a dash of Sakura and Jelly Rolls too. The two lots of lace used are from my stash as is the flowery ribbon and the pale ribbon is from Kaisercraft. The DP are from the fabby Maja.

The flowers are a mix of WOC and Kaisercraft. The pin is from my own stash. I used a frame from Prima. The die cuts are from Magnolia Dies. Around the edge of the image i used some Kaisercraft stamps to add to the image. These are stamped in DI 'Spun Sugar'. I edged the DPs and the card body itself in the same colour. The edge of the oval is edged in this colour also and I added chunky white fran-tage around it.  I added some rhinestones to the corners of the image and a Kaisercraft sparklet to the pink bow.

The sentiment is from Whimsy. I like this sentiment as sometimes there is no need to send a card but sometimes its 'Just because' you want to make someone smile. A bit of cheese cloth under the sentiment and the card is finished.

Hope you enjoy my card.

Winter Wonderland- Christmas Bingo

Afternoon everyone

I am here today with a Christmas card- i couldnt resist colouring up this new Tilda of mine!

So the challenges that I am entering with my card are-

Time for a Magnolia Challenge - Christmas bingo- Full house!
Magnolia Forever  - Anything goes
Midweek Magnolias - Texture

So the DPs are from the fab Maja Design. I have been hanging on to use this paper with the ice skates on as i knew it would fit perfect with this Tilda. I layered two of the DPs and in between these I added some white cardstock. I edged this and my tag with DI 'Iced Spruce' ink to give that wintry feeling. I coloured Tilda with copics.

The dies are a mix of Spellbinders, Magnolia and La La Land Crafts .

Right the snow. I used a Snow Tex pen and heated it with my heat gun and wow is this stuff cool! it literally inflates before your eyes! I also added some Chunky White Fran-tage around the image. If you look you can see that its not just on the edge but on parts of Tilda's clothes- i wasnt too worried about this as it looks like she is skating in the snow.  I used the Magnolia die for the doily and cute it in both white and Bazzil Bling blue.  The flowers are a mix of WOC and Kaisercraft. The twine is attached to the ice skate. I added texture with some lace from Marianne Design, some ribbon from my stash but also with the snow, fran-tage, cheesecloth and mesh (under flowers) and lso with the beaded twirl. To add some texture to the flowers I dipped them in twinklets. To finish the texture aspect I added some DI crackle paint in 'Picket fence' to the fence die cut.

Bling, well i love it! I added stickles to the main image, popped some sparklets in clear n the tag and the bow. The sentiment on the tag is from Whimsy stamps.  I also added a clear rhinestone pin to finish off the image.

I hope you like my card.

going back in time with 1920's Tilda!

Good morning everyone! Happy Friday!

So I am here today with a card with a theme that I LOVE- 1920's style. For this I used Tilda as a flapper! how cute is she!

I am entering my card in the following challenges-

Magnolia Mania- Vintage
Midweek Magnolias - Texture
Inky Chicks - From the heart
lovely hAnglar or sweet Magnolia- Lots of Layers
Magnolia Forever Challenge Blog - Anything goes

So for this card I masked Tilda onto a the piano stamp. I loved the theme of vintage and this to me is the perfect scene... think those smokey jazz bars in the 1920's (yes i like to make little stories up lol!) I coloured both of the images with Copics.

I used DP from the Kaisercraft 'Vintage Timeless' collection. This has the old style papers in that gorgeous yellow/ brown/tea colour which are perfect for any project which you want a vintage twist to.

Now for the texture- I used some cheese cloth, some mesh, two lots of lace, some fran-tage, and some of this gorgeous ruched ribbon trim. I used dies from Magnolia for the sentiment and for the edge of two of the DPs. I had to use the musical notes as Tilda is sitting on a piano! All the texture embellies are layered between the DPs. The sentiment stamp is from La La Land Crafts .

The flowers are a mix of Kaisercraft and WOC. I used a pearl trim, and draped it across the bottom of the image. All edges of the card are coloured with DI 'Vintage Photo'. I used a small natural coloured wood heart and a fan to finish off.

I hope you like my card!
