Christmas comes early!

Hi there!

Heck we are in July already people! Where has this year gone! Sooooo fast! I am catching up on some blogging so this is the first one two posts from me today. Then I might be quiet for a few weeks as we are moving house soon so its all go!

I would like to enter my card into the following challenges-

Marvelous Magnolia Challenge blog- Flowers
Alphabet Challenge blog- 'I' is for ink it up!
Simply Magnolia- Christmas in July
Paradise of stamps- Anything goes
The Ribbon Girl challenge blog- July Anything goes
Noor! design UK challenge blog- Anything goes

Now I know its a while off till Christmas but us card makers know that if we dont get started early poof and its here and we are behind so this year im on it early lol!

I used a stamp from last years Magnolia Christmas release 'Tilda with Christmas lamp' I love the outfit she is in! I coloured miss Tilda with Distress Inks. The papers are from Maja design, dont they do the most beautiful Christmas papers!

The tag dies are from Magnolia as is the lace die and the leaf and flourish. The shape of the card is from Go Kreate.

Now to the flower ohhhh die I love this die!!!! It can be found at Noor! Design Shop UK- its the poinsettia die and isnt it divine! It is so beautiful and really is a show stopper!!!! The middle of the flower I used a bling embellie from My creative heart.

The holly and berries- the leaves are from Wild Orchid Crafts. The berries are made from frosted apples from Live and Love Crafts.

The stamp I used in the corners of the image is also from Magnolia and is the Lingonberry stamp and it fits perfect into the corners! I used some shabby gold Fran-tage on the edges of the image and in the middle of the berries on the stamp as well as the lamp I popped some red beads.

The 'Dear Santa' is a beautiful paper art embellie which can also be found at the Noor! Design shop at the link above.

Finally, I added a little bronze holly charm just to finish off.

Have a great day.

A special little man turns 2!

Happy weekend peoples!

Well big day for me today! Yes I voted for the first time as an Aussie Citizen!!! wowzers!!! How cool is that that I am a pomstralian!hehe!

I would like to enter my card into the following challenges-

lovely hAnglar or sweet Magnolia- Add some blue
All about Magnolia Challenge blog- All about shape cards
Magnolia Forever- Baby
Midweek Magnolias- Celebration
Paradise of Stamps- Anything goes

The card I made is for our gorgeous little nephew George. Boy has this kid stolen hearts and is absolutely stunning. He is just such a character and loves all things car/van/tractor/machine like like his uncle and granda.....oh and he loves his lawn mower and likes to mow the lawn with granda when he is out there doing it. Phils sis is a lucky girl he is a fab little boy!

I used little prince Edwin for this card as George is our little prince. I coloured Edwin with Distress Inks. The papers are from the Kaisercraft baby boy collection. Love the blues in this collection so fresh! The dies....the shape of the card is a circle from Go Kreate. There rest of the dies are from Magnolia bar the number die cut which is from Tim Holtz.

I added shabby blue fran-tage to the castle and shabby gold fran-tage to the turret. On the big number 2 I used crackle adhesive and then give it a bit of a coating with some gesso and then headed some of the shabby gold fran-tage on to it.

The little boy cut outs are from a punch I found in spotlight as are the little footprints. I think these are just adorable!!! I have been dying to use them!

On the tag with the nappy pin, from All dressed up buttons, I used this as a pull out to pop a message on 'George is 2!' as love the hidden messages.

And finally the lovely aqua colour bling flourish is from Kaisercraft.

Hope you have a great weekend.
