Virgo Tilda

Hiyyyyaaa!!!

Today I am here with a card using the gorgeous 'Virgo Tilda'. Weather is rather fresh outside so happily colouring to keep warm!

The challenges I would like to enter my card into are the following-

Tilda's Town Neighbourhood challenge blog - Any shape
Magnolia-licious - things with wings
Midweek Magnolias- Anything goes
Boutique Magnolia- Anything goes
Simply Magnolia- Anything goes

So I coloured the cute 'Virgo Tilda' with distress inks.  I used Maja design papers- what a shock! I loved this colour combo together, its just cute!!!

Since the 'things with wings' challenge at Magnolia-Licious was inspired by a new die, I thought instead of using an image with a 'thing with wings' I would use a die and a charm- so I used the cute Magnolia birds die from the Doohickey club and a dragon fly charm. Just to be a bit different!

The dies are all Magnolia except for the shape of the card which is Go Kreate. The ribbon which just peaks out along with the lace from behind the image is from my stash. The shabby chic binding is from Live and Love Crafts.  I used flowers from WOC. To add some sparkle some flat back pearls were used along with a pearl brad, a rhinestone brad and some flat back pearls and rhinstones. I like my sparkle!

The sentiment is off a stamp from La La Land Crafts.

Finally, I used Gesso all over the flowers and die cuts.

Hope you have a lovely day.

Tilda with Koala

Good morning !

Hope we are all well and keeping warm! sounds like the weather is crazy on both sides of the world at the moment. This card is inspired by my citizenship ceremony next month, finally I am going to be an Aussie citizen. So this is my card for the special occasion!

I would like to enter my card into the following challenges-

Bunny Zoe Crafts  - Furry Friends
Marvelous Magnolia Challenge Blog- Twine or Ribbon
Time for a Magnolia Challenge- Special occasion
lovely hAnglar or Sweet Magnolia- Pearls or gems - I used a gem stone brad.
Midweek Magnolias- Anything goes

For this card I used the very cute 'Tilda with Koala' isnt she adorable with her cuddly fuzzy friend! Love the smile on the little Koala's face! I coloured Tilda and her fuzzy friend with Distress Inks. The papers are from the Kaisercraft collection ' Timesless Classic' . I liked these for this image as I wanted the colours of where I live in the Pilbara in Western Australia- lots of browns, sand coloured tones.

I used Kaisercraft card stock for the brown and orange leaves, these colours suit up here prefectly. The dies are Magnolia, and the shape of the card is from Go Kreate.

I didnt add any flowers as this reminds me of what its like with the trees at the moment, they are losing lots of there leaves and turning a gorgeous orange.

I added a little Koala charm to the fence, isnt he a cutie pie!

The gemstone that I added is a brad, in a subtle gorgeous green.

Hope you have a lovely day!

The dies are from Magnolia and Tim Holtz. I wanted to create a forest scene for Robin Hood. I edged all the dies with DI 'Vintage Photo' to give it that forest feel. The main image is edged in DI 'Mowed Lawn'.  I added some green flat back dew drops to add a bit of glam to it. Also I added some gold glitter to the arrows and the belt buckle.

On the inside, I stamped 'Maid Marion Tilda'  as no Robin Hood would be complete without his Maid Marion!!!

The final part, I added a little mushroom charm as it is a fairy tale.

Hip Hurrah Tilda

Good morning!

Hope everyone is ok out there? Things this end are good, just having a pit stop while waiting for my cake to cool so can ice it so what better to do than a bit of blogging!

I would like to enter my card in the following challenges-

All about Magnolia Challenge blog- Lace and Pearls
Marvelous Magnolia Challenge blog- Ribbon or twine - I used twine
Simply Magnolia- Dies or punches
Time for a Magnolia Challenge- Special Occasion
Tildas Town- Anything goes
Maja Design - Mood board challenges

So for this card i used an oldie but a cutie 'Hip Hurrah Tilda' from the 'Special Occasion' collection. I coloured little miss with Distress inks. I LOVE this paper, Maja Design you guys know how to make a girl swoon!!!!

I used dies from Magnolia and Tim Holtz. Behind the image you can see some cheesecloth. I added some flowers from Magnolia and also from WOC. The lace is from the fabulous Live and Love Crafts. The twine I picked is in one of my fave colours, this beautiful blush/rose pink which is so girly for twine....how lovely is this colour!!! Beside the flowers, nestled is one of the Live and Love crafts new products, the beautiful Pomegranate apples which are soooo sparkly!

Now, I wanted to make it a bit different so I added a pocket between the layers so the Magnolia die cut tags can be pulled out to reveal the birthday message (it reads happy bday on one and from us as my name is farrrrrrr to long to fit on a little tag with hubbys!) On one of the tags I tied a rainbow charm with the twine as everyone deserves a rainbow on their bday!

On the presents die the edges are distressed with DI 'Vintage Photo' and I added flat back pearls to the edges of it as everyone likes a glammed up present!!!

On the inside of the card is another present in the gorgeous Maja paper.

Hope you have a lovely day!

in the summer time when the weather is hot...

Well hellllllllloooo!!!!

I am here today with a boy card, and a special boy card its for my hubbys bday in a few months time, shhhhh dont tell him!!!

The challenges I would like to enter my card into are the following-

Time for a Magnolia Challenge- Male/boy masculine card
lovely hAnglar or Sweet Magnolia- Use a die cut
Paradise of stamps- Anything goes
Stamp and Create- Summer fun
Tilda's Town Challenge blog- Use dies cut or punchs
Magnolia-licious- Sun, sea , sand

So boy cards arnt the easiest thing in the world then I saw this stamp- 'Edwin in Miami' and something clicked, a memory from a few year ago when we were on the beach and there was a starfish that was on the sand still alive and hubby popped it back in the water for me so it would be ok. And there is Edwin with his starfish!!! Perfect!

So for Edwin I coloured him with Distress inks. The paper is from Kaisercraft. I used lots of Magnolia dies on this card and also from Impression Obsession.

Now as most people know we have two Hermit crabs for pets, so I found these cool buttons from Dress it up and there was a crab!!! Now I know hubby will like that!!! The other buttons are of shells. I added a shell embellie to the fence and to the cheesecloth behind Edwin I added a starfish charm...kinda had to really!!! The ribbon behind is the perfect 'boy card' ribbon- hessian!

Finally I edged the image with DI 'Tumbled glass' to add to that beachy seaside feel.

Hope you enjoyed your time at the beach with Edwin!

Midweek Magnolias- Fun in the sun
The ABC Challenge blog- 'K' is for Kritters
Tilda's Town Neighbourhood challenge blog- Use dies or punches

So for this card I used the awesome 'Surf Tilda' from the collection 'WW15' I love her dreadlocks!!! Doesnt she just look adorable! I coloured Tilda with Distress inks, I am getting more confident with the DI, the old adage of 'practice makes perfect' is true.

The DPs are from the Kaisercraft collection 'Sandy Toes' gotta admit this is one of my all time fave KC papers, love the colours!!!!

The dies are from the fabulous 1st Doohickey club and i thought the jellyfish was the perfect Kritter. The other dies are from Tim Holtz, Go Kreate, Memory Box and Impression Obsession.

I edged the dies with DI 'Vintage Photo' and the image is edged with DI 'Tumbled glass.

Now my, how cute are these little bubble embellies from Dress it up!! I have been DYING to use them! The charm is a teeny tiny pair of flip flops!!!

I edged the flip flop die with Stickles as wanted them like the cute ones you see nowadays. I also added the same gold Stickles to the zippers on Tilda's wetsuit and to her bobble for her dreads. The sentiment inside the card is from a La La Land Crafts

Behind the image you can see some pale blue spiders web mesh and some cheesecloth.

Finally, I sprayed the whole card with Tattered Angels Glimmer Mist for that summery gold that the sun casts on everything.

Have a lovely day!
