Shot thru the heart

Happy Saturday bloggers!

Well I know the title is a bit weird but im a Bon Jovi fan and love 'Shot through the heart' and Bonny Tilda here is wielding a bow! Anyhow! I digress! Anyhow its getting near to Valentines day so made this card for my hubby.

The challenge that I am entering this card into-

In the Pink- Dies or/and punches
Cute Card Thursday - So Sweet!
Allsorts Challenge Blog - Vintage

For this card I used the gorgeous DP from Maja- what a shock being me! I love this Tilda and I do love colouring her, she is just so adorable. SO the punch I used was the Martha Steward butterfly punch and I punched out 4 butterflies, covered them in Stickles and left them to dry. Just as they were about to harden I shaped the top so it would be 3D when on the card. The die that used on this was the awesome big scalloped heart set from Spellbinders which I used behind Tilda. I also used the La La Land Crafts lovely fence. This was then placed behind the flowers from Magnolia and WOC. I used a vintage love sign in the shape of a bulb. The Next die cut is used inside the card and is a Tim Holtz tattered rose.

I coloured Tilda with Copics and then couldn't resist putting some Fran-tage around her. I also added stickles to her wings and then added some shabby pink fran-tage to the wing too.

To Finish off I then added some cheese cloth, a vintage zipper and a sentiment stamp from Penny Black.

Hope you like my creation!

Tilda - all that Jazz

Morning bloggers!

I am here to share with you another card. I am entering this card into the following challenges

Tilda Town Neighbourhood Challenge Blog - Anything goes
Fashionista Challenge Blog - Anything goes
A Creative Romance - Becky's sketch
lovely hAnglar or sweet Magnolia -Ribbon or Trim
Midweek Magnolia's - New Stash- My awesome new Tilda!
Time for a magnolia Challenge- Tilda or Edwin with something on their head
Totally Tilda Challenge Blog - Masking
Magnolia Down Under Facebook Challenge- Sketch

Right, So for this card I used Kaisercraft's collection 'Curiosity'. Anyone who knows me knows I love the 1920's era so thought Tilda sitting on a piano like the showgirl is a lovely image. And this DP collection goes great with the colours of that era.

I coloured Tilda and her Piano with copics and added some flowers from Kaisercraft and WOC . Some spiders web ribbon on the bottom to trim the card and a feather to tie in with her head piece.

I used DooHickey  and La La Land craft dies. Some sparkle was added with stickles and sparklets in Cameo.

I added some more trim in the form of a ribbon but this time to the inside of the card.

I hope you like my creation!

Tilda is baking for a birthday!

Morning bloggers! Its wild and windy here which makes a nice change from the crazy dry hot weather so thought this was the perfect chance to upload my latest creation. This time I used Tilda icing as thought she would be lovely for a birthday card...and who wouldn't want a cake iced by Tilda!

The challenges I am entering this card in are the following-

Time for a Magnolia Challenge - Tilda/Edwin with something on their head
Tilda's Town Neighbourhood Challenge blog - Anything goes
A creative romance - Becky's sketch
Allsorts Challenge Blog - Buttons and bows
lovely hAnglar or Sweet Magnolia- Ribbon or Trim

So for this card I used DP from Kaisercrafts 'Save the date' collection. Its a fun, brightly coloured collection and perfect for a birthday card.  I used Martha Steward embellishments that I got for Christmas off my Mother in Law The flowers are from Kaisercraft and WOC. I have coloured Tilda in Copics.

I used Magnolia Doo hickey dies and La La Land dies. I added some blue glittery buttons to the collection of flowers and used my ribbon punch to thread the ribbon into the card to tie in a bow. The brads are ice cream cones - everyone loves cake and ice cream esp on their Birthday!

The sentiment is from La La Land Crafts

And here is the cake that Tilda has created and iced!- Another Martha Steward embellishment. The sentiment inside if from the 'Save the date' collection.

Hope you have enjoyed my creation.

Dreaming of summer

Afternoon bloggers

I am back to show you my summer card. Was feeling very much like being near the seaside today so hence the theme of this card. I am entering the card into the following challenges

lovely hAnglar or sweet magnolia - Anything goes
Fashionista Challenge Blog - Anything goes
Marvelous Magnolia Challenge Blog - Lovely Lace
Midweek Magnolias - New Stash
Magnolia Down Under Challenge Blog - Summer Delights

I used the gorgeous Maja DP of beside the sea which is lovely fresh blues and all things seaside. The image I used is my new stamp of Tilda with her life buoy. I coloured Tilda with Distress Markers as wanted a seaside weathered look. I used flowers from Kaisercraft and WOC to decorate. The sentiment is from La La Land Crafts. I distressed the DPs. I used a Martha Steward punch to be able to slot the red ribbon through the cardstock. I used red lace from my stash and blue ribbon from Papermania. A 'Happy Days' brad finishes off this card I think. I added red rhinestones and a ships wheel charm to the bottom.

Inside I used the La La Land lover banner die and also the fence and chopped part off.

I hope you enjoy my creation.

bit of blues

Evening bloggers.

Well today I am showing you one of my fave Tilda's- but then I always say that don't I! I should say one of my fave winter Tilda's. Its anything but cold here, a scorching 43 degrees again today but in the USA its freezing ! So this will all make sense when I tell you which challenge I am entering!

Tilda's Town Challenge Blog - Brrrrrr its cold outside!
Papertake weekly challenge - Anything goes
Marvelous Magnolia Challenge Blog - Lovely Lace
Allsorts Challenge Blog - Ribbon but NO Bows

For this card I have used Tilda all wrapped up in her winter coat. I used Maja DP which I love and some gorgeous frosty blue card stock from Kaisercraft. I coloured Tilda with Copics and used WOC flowers. The dies are from both La La Land Crafts and Magnolia. The small snowflakes and the hat (Inside) is from Lifestyle crafts. I used some sparkly mesh from my own stash and added snow tex to the image to add that winters feeling. A bit of holographic embossing power to the flowers to add that fresh frosty look. Then some shabby blue Fran-tage around the image.

I paper pieced the parcel that Tilda is holding.  I love the ghost leaves so added some of these for that wintery chill.

The sentiment reads 'warm winter wishes' and its from the La La Land Crafts collection.

To finish off I added a mittens charm and left the ribbon untied to tie in with the Allsorts challenge.

Hope you like my card

First of 2014!

Happy New Year bloggers! Hope we all had a great one, us well we were on Red alert as Cyclone Christine hit. WOW what a way to ring in the new year! But all good.

So for my first card of the New Year I have used one of my fave image of miss Tilda. Tilda as a princess with those long lovely curls. I am entering this card in the following challenges:

Tilda Town Challenge Blog -Something New- I used my New dies an bling
Live and Love Crafts Challenge Blog- Perfume - Inspired by Vera Wang's 'Princess'
Time for a Magnolia Challenge- Inspired by a song - Disney's 'Every girl can be a princess'
Lovely hAnglar or sweet Magnolia challenge blog- Anything goes

I used DP papers from Bazzill, which I embossed with dots as the neck of the perfume bottle has dots on it, and Maja Design. Vera Wang's 'Princess' is in a lovely purple bottle and is very delicate. I thought the song from Disney's 'Tangled' was perfect for this as 'Every girl can be a princess' as how many girls don't want to be a princess regardless of age. Also Tilda's long hair suits the film I think.

I coloured Tilda with Distress markers and used dies from Magnolia and Go Kreate. I use bling from Kaiercraft. My lace and spiders web were from my personal stash. The flowers are Kaisercraft. I used some Fran-tage on her crown and dress and around her. To finish off I used a wood flourish of a crown.

I hope you enjoy my creation.
