'Oh I do love to be by the seaside.'
How are we all today? good I hope?
I am here today with a summer/nautical card- I do love doing nautical style ones!
I would like to enter my card into the following challenges-
Paradise of Magnolia- Summer
Magnolia Forever - Summer, sun and sand
Boutique Magnolia- Anything goes
The ABC Challenge blog - 'M' is for Magnolia
Time for a Magnolia Challenge- To the beach/ Summer
Tilda's Town Neightbourhood Challenge blog- Any shape
So for this card I used 'Ahoy there Tilda' she is ready for a day on her boat in the sunny weather- wish we could join her eh!
The papers I used are the ever fabulous Maja Design 'By the sea' I love the reds and blues in this collection. I coloured Tilda with Copics. The wood and the pelican are from WOW chipboard and these were covered in Distress Crackle paint. I wanted that weathered seaside look. I liked the wood as it looks kinda draft boardy!
The buttons are from Dress it up, and are so cool!!! these come in lots and lots of different themes! I love them!
The dies are a mix of Magnolia and Impression Obsession. The sentiment is from Magnolia.
Behind the image I added cheesecloth as wanted it to be a fishing net and added a shell and a pearl to it. The Dress it up buttons are tied along some twine, I used crustaceans as Tilda was out fishing on her boat!
Hope you like her!
