GDT at Time for a Magnolia Challenge- 2nd Post!

Hey there everyone!!!!

I am here today with my 2nd post as GDT for Time for Magnolia Challenge. For this challenge we have an awesome one- Tilda or Edwin in combination with a Background or Text stamp. Why not hop over to Time for a Magnolia Challenge  and see what the others have been up to!

Now for this challenges I masked the gorgeous 'Edwin with Derby Hat' with the 'Afternoon Tea Plant'. Now if you look carefully at Edwin you will see I have masked the mustache from Little London  'Afternoon Tea Rose set'. I LOVE how this turned out!!!! He looks so debonair! I wanted the scene to be like a walk in an English garden.

Now the card itself came about as a card for a 70th Birthday card for a family friend back in England who I have grown up with. Hence the red inked wooden '70'.

The papers are from the awesome Graphic 45 'Proper Gentleman', think these suited our Edwin really well. I coloured Edwin and his garden with Copics. I used dies from Magnolia and Tim Holtz. Out of all the papers  think these are my fave from the collection, I love the little bowler hats!!! and Edwin has his hat and cane!!!!

The wooden mustache is  from Kaisercraft. I used black rhinestones and some twine through the tags.

Ballet Shoes Tilda

Hiya!

I am here with another card using my inktense pencils that Phil helped Santa buy. This is a brand new medium for me so its practice practice practice!!!

So guys I have had a good old play with my new stash from Santa. Firstly the Inktense pencils, these are AWESOME and slowly learning with them but they totally rock. As you can theres LOTS of dies on here that Santa knew i would like - Firstly  there is the awesome La La Land Craft's die, the heart doily. OH MY GOSH! i LOVE LOVE LOVE this! Then the hand made flowers are the die from the Doohickey club vol 2- LOVE LOVE LOVE these lol. Not only this but the fabby 'butterflight die from the Tim Holtz collection! Phew!!! it was die-namic in this house when I was cutting! Finally, the totally adorable ballet shoes stamp on the inside.

Now the papers are from (shock horror!) Maja! How did you guess lol!!! I coloured Tilda with Inktense pencils. I LOVE them (theres lots of loving going on in this post lol!) I used a mix of Magnolia, La La Land and Tim Holtz dies. I added some cheesecloth behind the main image.

The flowers are a mix of WOC ad kaisercraft. The handmade flowers (another new technique for me that i am trying) are from the Doohickey club and i edged them with Distress ink crackle paint in 'picket fence'.  I added some lace from Live and Love crafts, and some shabby seam binding to finish off.

On the image you can see a small corner embellie which is from Prima. How cute is it! I added some tiny baby blue pearls for earrings and dotted some around the card. On the inside I stamped the totally adorable ballet shoes stamp from Magnolia.

Tara wishes you happy birthday!

Hiya guys!!!

Well today I cracked out the Inktense pencils that my lovely hubby got me for Christmas. WOW what a beautiful array of colours. And also today, my gorgeous Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps arrived! So this was the perfect opportunity to try out both.

I would like to enter my card in the following challenge-

Now for this card I used Kaisercrafts 'Violet Crush' collection, Its a rich combo of purples and some beautiful metallic papers. Now remember this is the first time with the Inktense- and i LOVE them they are sooooo cool! rather happy with the way it came out for first attempt so more practicing this weekend me thinks!

I used a number of different dies, a mix of Go Kreate, La La Land Crafts and of course Magnolia. The flowers are from WOC and Ribbon girl. The lace and ribbon are from my stash.I used shabby seam binding ribbon to finish off the hearts.

I just LOVE this 'Happy Bday' flag die from La La Land crafts. The sentiment inside is off a La La Land stamp.

Sweet 7 challenge!!!! Anything goes!

Well guys I am here with the fabulous Sweet 7 Design team!!! woohoooo!!! Now a new challenge is starting today at Sweet 7 Design Challenge blog. Now the fabulous prize is from our sponsor Bugaboo Stamps and what a prize it is so why not hop across and see what it is and what the rest of the fab DT have been up to.

Now for my card I used Papers from Kaisercrafts 'Storyteller' its a rich mix of greens and oranges and I love this mix. The image I used is the 'Ladybug fairy which can be found here Bugaboo Stamps. I colured her with copics.

The dies are a mix of Magnolia, and Tim Holtz. I used these cute little fairy stamps on the flags which i cannot for the life of me remember where i got them! grrr!!!

I used flowers from Kaisercraft as they matched the DPs so well. I also used the sentiment from the fairy stamp set that i cant remember the name of!

To finish off I added some orange thread to the hearts and a ladybug charm.

Hiya gang!

Hope we are all ready to craft!!!! Today is the start of a new challenge here at the Inky Chicks and our fab sponsor for this challenge is Aliciabel and the theme is

So for this challenge I used the cutest little lady. I ♥ the old school vintage images and the feather dance is right up my street!!! She is beautiful. I wanted to keep it very vintage and kinda classy so I used the beautiful papers from First Edition Paper collection 'Noir et Chic. I thought the yellow paper with the candelabras on would be like what would be in the show and the black paper has this lovely glamorous sparkle to it . I coloured this lady with Copics. 

The lace is from Spotlight and I found these fab tassels and black ribbons in there too, arnt they sweet. I wanted the Feather Dance to play a main part so I used white feather around the side of the main image. 

The flowers are from Kaisercraft. The doily is from Martha Steward. 

To finish off I used a black sparklet with the tassel and added some black rhinestones for earrings.

I am here today with a stamp that really makes me smile. Its just the most adorable Tilda-  Summer pants Tilda. How cute is she!!!

Now I coloured this little cutie with Copics and I am so happy with how her hair turned out! The DPs are from Maja (anyone shocked at that!!) I used a die from Go Kreate for the shape of the card. As you can see Ive been at the dies again! This is a mix of Magnolia and Tim Holtz and Spellbinders. I used some cheesecloth for texture along with a white feather. The flowers are from WOC and Kaisercraft. I used a spotted ribbon behind the main image, from my stash.  

Now as Tilda has lost her button on her summer pants I added a pink button to the flowers and tied some silver string through it. I added some shabby seam binding to the hearts and a rainbow charm and some champagne coloured rhinestones finish off. The sentiment is from La La Land crafts stamp.

Time for a Magnolia Challenge GDT!

Hiyaaaaaaa!!!!!

Hope we are all well. I am here today and very very very very did i mention VERY excited to be picked as a guest designer at Time for a Magnolia Challenge. Woooohhhoo!!! The challenge is Valentines with the main colour as red. Why not hop across and see what the awesome DT have been doing but also the AWESOME PRIZE!!!!!

So for my card I used the every cute Tilda and she is dress as a little ladybird! How cute is she!!!!! I used papers from Magnolia, I LOVE the candy cane striped red paper. I coloured Miss Tilda with Copics.

The dies are a mix of Magnolia and Spellbinders. I love these hearts. The black paper is from a prize I won for something that is happening in February so cant tell you!!! hehe!

The black lace is from my stash and the red ribbon is also. I used flowers from Kaisercraft and WOC and the frame is from Prima. Inside the frame I used little alphas to spell out 'Love bug' just like on the banner at the top. For the black ladybird dots I used black rhinestones from Kaisercraft. The rhinestone hearts are also from there.

Finally to finish off I used a little ladybird charm.
